so IF the civic can't receive money anyways, why would they just give you all the property? If they are losing out on funds anyways, it makes no sense to lose everything else as well. Have the village trustees drop the suit, the village can collect their millions in aid, and we can all go back to living normal lives. BUT NO, the village board has be dicks about it because they won't be happy until the POA has noting. it will not work out that way. drop the suit now, collect your aid before the state takes it off the table, and stop being dicks.

Hey foul mouth:

Get this: The properties belong to all homeowners in the Village, not just to the members of that funky organization. Read the Deed!

YOU read the deed!
I was simply stating that if the village trustees dropped this suit, and stopped being dicks like they are, the VILLAGE could get the millions that Brady claims they deserve. It's not the MBPOA fault. And do you think if the village got their hands on that property, some how they WOULDNT find a way to make money on it? By CHARGING you to use it? You people will believe anything the trustees tell you.

Your logic is flawed. The only ENTITY able to receive these monies are villages, towns, or counties. Private clubs are not eligible to receive the funds. What you are asking every resident in MBV to do is Ignore the deed.

I get it that you want to maintain the status quo. But, that would not result in any of the Sandy rebuilding money being paid or given to the MBPOA. The village cannot collect the money, unless they own the property.

Is there any reason you have to always answer people with insults?

yes.
Because I have to answer to idiots.
Face it. You were wrong once again.
The MBPOA is here to stay. Think of something else to do to destroy them, your current plan of action isn't working.
So your whole "theory" is, the MBPOA can't get that funding, but the Village can ONLY if they own the Property, so the MBPOA should just give it up so the village can get "money" to use on the waterfront to developer it and destroy it? Yeah, not thanks. You want to live in Atlantic city? Go move to Atlantic city.

"What you are asking every resident in MBV to do is Ignore the deed." I think they are asking (demanding that) the residents, all of whom are in shared ownership of the waterfront, to relinquish their rights, and forfeit a huge amount of funding that will be beneficial to the residents as a whole. People, it's YOURS. It is not the private property of the MBPOA.

They won't give it up so now it's in a judges hands. Both sides motioned for summary judgement which means ...all in.

do you honestly believe that the village trustees will just freely let you use the marinas and waterfront without fist purchasing a pass and paying a "club" fee to join the marinas??? It's not going to be free. Full time workers and NON volunteer workers will be hired, rates will be raised, sections will be sold off all to make a buck. If you believe other wise, you're nuts. If you believe the village trustees are paying all this money to lawyers just to keep the land EXACLY the way it is now, you are nuts. It will be a revenue producing entity for the village. It won't be for US. And it will be that way because you honestly believe the land is "for the people" like the village is brain washing you to believe.
I feel sorry for you blindly following them.

Nice come back Potsie, but you didn't answer the question. Typical brain dead, do as we say, village supporter. You made a claim that the waterfront and clubhouse should be for "all the residents" of MBV. Did YOU ever work on the club house or marinas to fix and repair them? No? Then why should they be for you?
And again, you think the village will allow the residents to use the waterfront and marinas for free? I'm honestly asking if you are stupid enough to believe that? The village is charging you a FEE to have a garage sale and you are dumb enough to think they will let all the residents use this money maker for free? So, so stupid.

Now Now Carol, let me answer your questions.

1. Where in the deed does it say people from 11967 should be allowed to use the marinas? Well, the short answer is the deed is SILENT as to what particular parcels are incorporated, and in addition it does not limit the use to the original 10 sections. Another MYTH since sections 9 and 10 did not exist when the deed was signed.

2. Will the village charge a marina fee for boat slips? Of Coarse, nobody would expect to get a dock space for free. You think by saying the marinas will not be free is news?

first off, I'm not Carol. Keep guessing. And if they are going to charge a fee, will you idiots PLEASE stop using the phrase..... "The deed guarantees the property to the PEOPLE of MBV". Unless the village is going to let all of us use the marinas and waterfront for FREE, it is not "free to all the residents of MBV". It will only be available to a SELECTED few who have paid the village a fee and rental fees. Just like it is now. The only difference is that MY tax dollars aren't paying any volunteer or workers in the marinas now as it would be if the village ran them.
This is for your grudge, we all know that. To bad it was delayed. Again.
On a different note, I saw in the paper that the village ONCE AGAIN screwed up and has to go back to the drawing board with the budget. If the village runs those marinas as well as they do the rest of the village, it would look like crap in two years and cost three times to rent a slip.
Oh how I can't wait until next election. Once all you zombie yes men are gone, we might actually be able to fix this village that YOU all crewed up.

The only mistake the Village made with the budget was they forgot to tell the residents that a copy was available to them at Village Hall.
