there is very little village property that makes any difference to anyone here. The village is renting most properties, so the owners won't lose anything. At least if the Town owned it, they would actually get clean. So, I see no "consequences". We are going to have a tax increase because of the village and all their bonds anyways, why not stop the bleeding now.
