<quoted text>One unintended consequence us all village property reverts to the Town. The bond would possibly become due immediately resulting in an increased tax assessment.
I do not have three kids, I have two. And neither works for the village in any way.
You can ask Maura and Bruce, that's 2 right there.
there is very little village property that makes any difference to anyone here. The village is renting most properties, so the owners won't lose anything. At least if the Town owned it, they would actually get clean. So, I see no "consequences". We are going to have a tax increase because of the village and all their bonds anyways, why not stop the bleeding now. Your arguments for not dissolving are dissolving very fast.
your kids losing their village job is the only "consequence" that you have an issue with.

Have you just declared that you are not an MBV resident?

Do you mean A MBV resident? Man you're stupid. I didn't grow up here so unlike you, I don't date close family members. So yes, I live here now. As I have said before, Mastic Beach would be a great place except for the people. And unfortunately, those people are "playing" government now.
One more year.

I meant AN, because I was describing the resident as being an M. B. V. Resident. Why do you have to resort to name calling?

Your last comment rings true about MB being a great place except for the people, it's just that we differ on which people.

I like the ones that don't force lavers of government on you and try to control your life while ignoring their own rules. Those kinds of people suck.

Yes, they do suck. They ignore people who don't like the way they do things, give out contracts to friends and relatives without bids, fail to follow their own rules and laws and think they can do things without permits or inspections.

The only answer is to dissolve them. I really think this place can be a lot better when the MBPOA no longer exists.

last I checked, the MBPOA wasn't a a layer of government dumba$$.
The biggest problem with you people is that you can't comprehend that.
Who hands out NO BID CONTRACTS? Right, the village board.
Who tells people how to live their lives? Oh right, the village board does.
Who ignores their own laws and builds, and repairs their property without first getting proper permits? You guessed it! The village board and their "approved" contractors. You are correct, they do sck.

So you do understand. They may not be another layer of government, but everything else is a perfect desciption of what the mbpoa does.

Nice job, now you're getting it R.I.G.H.T.

wait? The MBPOA is required to place out bids? Really? Huh, missed that law. Where is that law?

This is the problem with MB becoming a village. It gives the idiots the impression that they can actually control peoples lives. You do know that the POA has no power and is NOT a layer of government, right?
Too bad your hatred for them means spit to any member of the POA. We're still here. Not going anywhere and you are not one steep closer to controlling the waterfront for your own personal gain. AWWWWW, does that make you cry? I bet it does. I bet you are crying right now thinking about it.
Isn't it funny knowing that you only have one year left to steal the marinas, try to bankrupt thePOA and get all members to quit before the rest of the Vision team is voted out of office? Makes me 'LOL' just thinking about it! Hahahahaha

to what? The fact that you guys think the POA is responsible for MB being the way it is? Or the fact that some idiot thinks the POA needs to place out bids when volunteers do most of the work?
Or is it the fact that no matter how much hatred you and your gang project towards the POA, you are no where near stealing the waterfront?
I find that funny.
For all the time, expense and lies you told to get a village, you are no closer to taking away the one thing you so desperately want....the waterfront.

Arrogance is a sad thing. Maura and her cronies think they have some master plan to stop the property lawsuit or destroy the village.

Go screw yourselves. The properties belong to every village homeowner and you will not destroy the village. How'd that article 78 work out for you Maura?

How much money has come out of our pockets fighting the MBPOA? The MBPOA has used their funds to fight the Village. The village has used our funds to fight them. What have we gained? The Village officials have not gotten it in the past most people don't care about the battle between the two. They care about living in good community. Three business have closed down on Neighborhood Rd in the last few months. Pizza Time ,Mama Lous and Beach Burger. Good job turning around the village. At the next meeting you 3 can congratulate your selfs on a great 3 years. I have never been a member of MBPOA and I have never been chased off their property.
