I am glad to see this coverage on missing man. I wish media would put it out there more to help maybe get some leads somewhere. I really feel for the family during this awful time.

If you read this, please know I have been in your exact situation with my father. What he did - was get in the car and started driving down 85 south towards raleigh. He kept going until he ended up outside of Creedmoor - it was only then - that a man that owned a auto parts shop saw him - called the police and because dad had our phone numbers on a piece of paper in the car - we were notified. If he's any where - he might be on the highway trying to find something that he recognizes or a landmark that will show him the way home. Keep the faith - keep looking - stay encouraged.

My friend saw this car, and even copied down the license plate, because the driver was driving carelessly(taking up part of both lanes) on Business 40 near Winston Salem, on Friday night late. He didn't think anything about it until he saw the story posted on another news stations website. He immediately called the Alamance County Sheriffs Department, and gave them this information. No one has called him about it, he said they didn't act like they muched cared. Have they found this man?

Have they even put out a Silver Alert for this man, if not, then why should be the question. I pray this man is found alive and well.

I have been out driving in my area which is near where he lives. I hope they find him because if he isn't eating or drinking he will get dehydrated and more disoriented. I wonder if Fox 8 here can check with the Alamance County Sheriff about the report of seeing him headed towards Winston as this is the first I heard of it. I will keep him and the family in my prayers. I have been riding through parking lots to see if I saw the car just sitting there too.

PLEASE FOX 8 What Morons, First take forever to air the story then get commenters cities/countries completely wrong.
Think it's time you do a replacement of the person who post commenters comments.
Please keep airing this Silver Alert.
Prayers go out to the entire family.
Also the Alamance County Sheriffs Department has according to the alamance live scanner had more information as to possible sightings of Mr. Clark's car since Friday Oct. 23rd. More sightings of his car were heard on the alamance county live scanner as of Sunday Oct. 25 and Oct 27th.
Were they even checked out?

On the alamance live scanner at 11:58 p.m. on Oct.25th sheriffs dept was supposedly checking out a lead a caller who said that they saw this car earlier in the day down an embankment off the road on 119 heading into burlington but that the caller had not reported it until later that day. Was this checked out?
Also on scanner Sunday Oct. 25th another report came across the scanner that said they saw the car on Prospect Church Rd and Sadie Ln near a trailer park. Were these checked out?

I am the security officier that saw this car on Business 40, October 23 at 2325 Hours. The driver was swerving, taking up two lanes of travel, the driver appeared to be reaching in the back seat for something. I thought the driver may be impaired, and caught up to it and copied the license plate down. I was on my way to work, and forgot about it. That was until, I saw the story on Channel 12's website. I then looked at the paper that I had wrote the license plate number on,and it matched. I didn't see the driver so It could have been someone else driving. I called the Alamance County Sheriffs Department and relayed this message to a telecommunicator. Whether the information was checked out is unknown. I saw the car at the Linville Road exit and Business 40. I hope they find this gentleman. As long as he has money for gas, he will continue to drive.

Sorry about the cities being wrong. The system looks at your IP address and uses its location, so Time Warner Cable customers will often be listed as Greensboro, etc.

Our group is assisting the family with organizing this search. If you post info about possible sightings please call the ACSD or the family. We will run down any and every lead however we can't waste time on false leads because it is Hugh Clarks time that will be wasted.
Bless everyone who has encouraged and prayed for the family. Keep the faith for them.

I have checked the Linville Road area for this car and Mr. Clark on Thursday. Did not see either. I am extremely worried about him, it has been almost seven days. I don't know how much longer he can survive, unless he has money for food and drink. Unfortunate as it may be, if he has money in his pocket, he could be anywhere, if he continues to drive. I am wondering if he has ran of the road, and his car isn't visible. That may be the reason no one has spotted him. And Mike, I saw the story on you, on the Burlington News Papeers website. I am from Burlington originally. I don't think anyone has posted false leads on this website. Most people, I think are very concerned for Mr. Clark, afterall this could happen to anyones realative.Praying that noone has done harm to him.

And how would someone contact the family? That information hasn't been given out. I think you are limiting your search to Alamance County, I already saw the car in Forsyth County, on Friday night. He could be anywhere.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Taurus

If your goals are fairly modest in the short term, they are achievable and you're likely to get some praise for achievements along the way. If you aim too high too quickly, others might not take you seriously or think you're being uppity and you could come unstuck. It's all a question of attitude and approach. There are contradictory influences over the next ten days but there could also be good luck coming your way.
