Wow, once again seenit has the answers, they were looking through a keyhole to watch the management consultant and mayor perform these acts. Oh how sneaky. My oh my how did you manage to witness those terrible actions that you describe and not have disappeared and never be seen again. An organized crime bureau like you portray existing within Gotham, excuse me I mean Yale's city hall, would not allow a witness and have to dispose of said witness properly. All silliness aside it sounds to me like one person said they heard this happened and the next person takes it as fact. I wish more people would elaborate on what they see and not what they were told by someone else....
OK Witness, are we through discussing this topic??

Joe Johnston was the city manager before Roan before Carl Hensley (the 2nd time)and before Jerri Shaw who was there before Roger McMillian.
Pam Coke was on the 09 council along with Pat Heilmann, Mike McCollough. Ryan Posey was appointed when Chuck Thomas resigned because of the harrassment.
Lozier and Mendenhall rounded it out.
And don't tell me that McMillian is the managementconsultant. Val doesn't fart withput his suggestion, so she is drawing a city manager's salary for doing a clerk's job.
Thank-you, I appreciate that.

So Lozier wasn't anywhere near the books during the worst of it.....

Just as I thought.

Hey Kat.
Did you know the Awful committee is using the Yale Maveric as a meeting point for their "Boycott All Yale Businesses" conventions which is sort of ironic, seing how if the boycott is successful the Maveric will go out of business, too.

Are you serious? OMG how disgusting.

Something my other half brought up, this boycott seems to be doing just opposite of what it wishes to acomplish. Newspaper subscriptions have gone up (Maveric SOLD OUT of last weeks paper, and this weeks paper is already nearly gone), and I wonder how much extra business those advertisers have gotten? hat saddens/frustrates me is how so many want to grab that paper off the stand and read it, then put it back. I want to strangle them....

Oh, and maybe sometime I'll tell you about my "interview" with the mayor herself. "I need this beer to sleep away the depression from the paper attacking me..." (roll eyes)

But, the biggest question I have is this: If the Awful group is boycotting every business advertised in the paper, will they be shutting down thier facebook pages too? Something to think on...

Could we be talking of the $200,000 that was spent drilling three water wells we can't use to replace the three that were plugged in 1980 because we couldn't use them??
Or the $96,000 we spent on a garbage truck that never worked right because it came from the factory with a faulty computer that was sold for $23,000 as soon as it was paid off and repaired?
Or the $40,000 we spent to build streets in Western Heights, II?
Or the $36,000 we spent on a library annex that needed a $5,000 roof that still leaks and is contaminated with asbestos and can't be used?

Anyone can post bond if they can find the money...well, anyone short of murder. Point being, there is an effort made to attack on the drug thugs. Hooray. Driving through town today I saw someone pulled over. Had the dog there too. Woopee! Go get'm. Im thrilled about this. If Yale gets to be known for no tolerance maybe the skanks will move out.

Skanks? ok, interesting choice of words, but whatever.

Yeah, a drug bust was done that shut down one of how many meth labs here? The way I hear people talk, you'd think there was a meth lab in every third house/trailer. that's an awful lot of busting to be done.

Yeah, they busted one lab. I'm AM actually happy about that. But there is so much more work to be done before anyone can really start celebrating. Was this a one time deal to get people off thier backs, or are the police REALLY cracking down? Only time well tell on it.

And hey, seenit....the paper sold out at Maveric, again.......

JAILBIRD is the hottest thing to hit Yale. LMAO!! I have to admit this month was a bit shocking. Just reinforces my personal opinion of what makes up our community. I believe one called it "skanks". Gotta love it. I'll try to remember that one for future reference. I'm sure many others will also.

Not through with the phony arguments, I just realized that when someone is polarized on what they believe no matter what you say or what argument you have against them they will be right. I was under the impression that to fix things people need to meet in the middle to make everyone involved they can, but it appears that it is your way or the highway, not a way to make things better but an excellent way to keep people divided. I have better things to focus on that someone who already knows everything. It appears that Katrina has an open mind to find the truth but since you already have it why bother?

Wow, thanks for the compliment. I do indeed try to keep an open mind. Yet for some reason so many questions remain unanswered.....

we have one thing going in our favor....Yale is a small town. Not that many houses/trailers to bust. I like the idea of Yale being a no tolerance town.

start with the growers and cookers in towns and cities. take the known growers and cookers and bust them. what magic does that take? the drug thugs are well known, we all know it. i say bust them. sounds like a good place to start to me. this isn't rocket science, so what is the real reason nothing is done? what happen to good old values? i look around and see pathetic people who will do anything for more drugs. yet let their children do without needs and without nurturing. all for the sake of more drugs. it just makes me sick to my stomach when it doesn't have to be. go through the drive in grocery that you and i are paying for in the end. but they have enough money to get their fix. i am bitter about the drug growers and cookers and would like for them to be stopped. tell me why they won't bust them? they know who they are and where they live why are they allowed to continue?
So, lets hear, who are the cookers?

The annex building did not cost that much money. Thanks to the storm that came through and a library grant ,the roof was repaired with a new roof. It benefited everyone in town because it also contained the EMS vehicles. It is now being used by the city to store fire equipment and vehicles. I wish the same gripes and gripers would quit. It is So destructive to our town and prevents any sucess in this town.
