You pay face value. It's printed on the NASCAR form you sign. Who cares about anything else. Quit whining!!!!! The opportunity is priceless. Took me 7 years of praying for garage passes to get Steve to pick me out of around 140,000 fans. Better than winning the lottery!

My boyfriend and I had tickets and pit passes to the Chicagoland race a week or so ago. We were down in the pits and Stephan came up to us and started chatting, asked us what we did for a living. He asked me if I had ever met Tony Stewart, I said " No, I wish!". He said to wait for him for 5 minutes, he went behind the garage area, came back and handed us garage passes! We could not believe it! He said have fun and to send him a Christmas present and let him know what a good time we had. We stayed in the garage area for two days due to the rain delay. Stephan is for real and the nicest man you could ever meet. Generous to say the least! Iw ill be sending him a very nice Christmas present and my business card for next year's race! And yes, I did meet Tony and several other drivers and most of the owners and ESPN reporters.

I know Steve. If you get a card from him, call him - but only if you really want to meet your driver ;-) he is legit.

My husband and I met Mr. Mahaffey at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. He picked us out of a crowd; asked what we did for a living, and who our favorite drivers were. Next, he told us to the exact same thing as most everyone else has posted. So, needless to say, in March 2012 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, we will call him towards the end of February and see what happens. Stay tuned in the near future to see how this story ends. I am looking forward to a great finish on a book that the "Cigarman" started and hopefully he will see through to the end and make our wishes of meeting our favorite drivers come true. Wish us luck in the City That Never Sleeps.

On the evening after the Vegas race while walking from our hotel to the strip, my wife and I were approached by Stephen. Same story as the rest, gave us his card, asked what we did, said he could hook us up for the Fontana race. He had me call a number of a guy in Sacramento to prove his valitity. Due to the fact I had a few drinks before meeting Stephen, I called the number again the next day. The gentlman told me that passes were not free but a good deal, and all Stephen asked was to remember him at Christmas time. Havent decided if I should call or not. What do you think?

My wife and I were at KY Speedway walking around to go behind the garage area to see what we could (no garage passes) when we ran into Mr Mahaffey. He approached us and like most everyone else asked what we did for a living, who our favorite drivers were, and if we had met them before. I didn't think anything of it. At most, I thought, maybe he was just someone with NASCAR to see how happy the crowd was or just a fan that travelled a long distance. BOY WAS I WRONG! Mr Mahaffey asked us if we would be interested in HOT passes, but sadly we didn't have any extra money and had to decline. Even more to my surprise he asked me,"Are you an honorable man." I told him that I was raised to be a man of my word and I am. He asked me if I would mail him a check and I said yes. A few minutes later he hand my wife and me HOT passes and his card and asked us to have a good time. He NEVER asked to see my ID nor any personal information. I don't know why he picked us, but I can say that he is making me rethink my doubt in the goodness of people. Thank God for people like Mr Mahaffey. I will not say what I am paying for the passes, but I will say that it was affordable for my wife's and my low incomes. And yes, we had a GREAT time. We watched most of the race from Harvick's pit area. Thank you Mr Mahaffey you are a good and generous man.

He is one of the nicest people you could meet. The real deal. I met him several years ago in New Hampshire and have been doing passes with him since at many tracks.

The experience is worth every penny you pay. He wants you to have the most fun ever and succeeds at every turn.

This is the REAL deal. He is a sponsorship dealer for the drivers. He gets the sponsors on the car. He & his wife are dear people & give you an opportunity for an experience of a lifetime. We have now been going to the races all over the US for 5 years now!! If you get his card......CALL HIM!!

I have met Stephen (Cigar Man) many times at the Texas Race. This man is the real deal and more. He is one of the nicest gentlemen you will ever come across and is as gracious as they come. A true Southern Gentleman. If he says he can do something he can and will. He has provided several of my employees a NASCAR Experience they will never forget. Also, as stated above, do not forget him at Christmas time. Manners go along way in business and in life.
