“Syria Hysteria and John Wayne Brain”
Regardless of facts, our public debts ought to stop our Syrian (defense-contractor?) attacks, despite dealing with Syria Hysteria and John Wayne Brain feelings, squealing and what we hear or read or see on our TV screens. Is this Syria Hysteria or John Wayne Brain Derangement just another excuse to ignore with war and then forget our $17 trillion national debt? The president and congress probably feel political, public and PAC-rat pressure to do some things, even if they are or end up being dumb things. Public servants and PAC rats always need and seek problems to solve so that they (and in effect we) can be involved. I detest people who compete in compassion and patriotism contests; not that we elect or select the best.
Thus, we must keep the American Empire going, despite and regardless of those pesky patriotic constitutional conservatives, America First nationalists, libertarians, Tea Party people and other friends who say that it is past time for the American Empire to end.“The World’s” other seven-billion people may want to be fed by us without being led by us.
I have been an Old Cold Warrior and a Pentagon porker at places like the bases. Too many Old Cold Warriors and Pentagon porkers still suffer from that old (WWII-nostalgia) John Wayne Brain Derangement: Equating our national defense with sending and stationing US troops all over the globe; their employers and emotions sending our supplies and military across the oceans.
Some of us suspect that the elite of Washington, D.C., are really fighting for their prestigious personal and political positions and power, pay, perks and privileges. They and their spouses enjoy their jobs and Maryland and Virginia houses, that elite herd that escapes to those special suburbs from D.C. town before the sun goes down. They and State Department diplomats dread, fear and warn us about our nation returning to old-fashioned constitutional international isolation.
Once again, some of our distant uninvolved Arab,(Cold War) NATO and UN allies and friends might whine but feel fine if we attack Syria/the Middle East again. Let them pout and shout while we sit this one out. Many of us pray for and await the day, when we finally hear our public servants say that they have taken enough taxes. And that something somewhere over there is none of our business because we can no longer afford to be involved to solve their problems; despite dealing with Syria Hysteria or John Wayne Brain feelings, squealing and what we hear or read or see on our TV screens.
