Getting oxygen is. The unborn require oxygen, and it's provided like this ...
From ehow:
"A baby's lungs start to develop inside the uterus during the first 13 weeks. The fetus grows an umbilical cord attached to the mother's placenta, connected to the uterine lining.
Emerging from the baby's stomach, the cord contains two arteries and a vein. The vessels form connecting coils, embedded in a jelly with a thin cover, resembling a soft, twisted rope.
As the mother inhales, oxygen enters her blood through the heart and lungs, and oxygen travels through the placenta and into the fetus's tiny blood vessels. The baby rids its body of carbon dioxide the same way, except in reverse."
<quoted text>
You've certainly managed to find a stupid non-issue to make a big deal over.
Most parents don't have a name picked out before they find out they're pregnant. Maybe you should push for a law forcing people to choose a name before they're allowed to get pregnant.
A law to force women to name the baby before it's even conceived? What kind of fascist regime would think they have a right to tell a woman what she can or can't do with her body?

The Supreme Court also ruled that GW Bush was the rightful president of the United States in 2000.
My personal involvement in pro-life matters has nothing to do with Topix. However, little debates around the country, such as this, may influence a few people's opinions about abortion, and present them with facts that they hadn't considered before. Then those people will become pro-life advocates, even if it's just in giving their opinions to family and friends. Public opinion will turn against abortion, and it's just a matter of time before the matter comes before the Supreme Court again. Next time, the unborn will win.
A decision that like many of Americans, I disagree with. Strange though how you don't hear me crying about that Supreme Court decision every day or blaming people that have nothing to do with Bush stealing the election from the American voters. I guess I'm just not stupid enough to think that me blabbering away about it on a online forum will ever change the reality of the matter. How about you? Let's ask little lumpy. Oh that's right, like most humans, he doesn't have a mouth or ears.

But wouldn't the real lie be you acting like you didn't know Intelligent Design was just another name for Christian Creationism, when it has clearly been pointed out to you, with documented fact more than once?
ID doesn't teach Creationism. It doesn't teach any religion. It's supported by people of many different religions, as well as agnostics, and people who believe there's life on other planets. You're a liar who can't back up his own theory. All you've got left is to misrepresent opposing viewpoints.

You've still failed to explain how evolution can defy the fundamental laws of science, but still be considered a scientific theory.

I don't care what a woman does with her own body. That subject hasn't been discussed.

Atheist, Bradley Monton, University of Colorado Professor of Philosophy, defends Intelligent Design in his book "Seeking God in Science: An Atheist defends Intelligent Design".

are you a hanging chad counter?

are you counting chads on the floor as intent to vote for Gore still?

Florida is not Minnesota where boxes of votes mysteriously show up after elections forcing re-counts
And better yet to elect a comedian to the Senate........now that is funny.

Larry the Cable Guy is running in 2016..........we can make the Obama comedy tour at least funny.

And when someone without health insurance walked into the ER before Obamacare? Oh, that's right. It was magically free and no one had to pay for it.

Hey, abortion go away yet since you guys started talking about it on here? Keep me updated.

Bradley Monton is a historian/philosopher, but not a scientist. A very thorough review of his book can be found here:

http://ndpr.nd.edu/news/24657/...

"The arguments for teaching ID in schools (in Chapter 4) are particularly weak. Monton naively assumes that it is pedagogically possible to decontextualize the teaching of ID from the historical conjuncture in which it has arisen, viz., attempts to introduce theological considerations into science classrooms in the United States within its specific legal framework (consisting, most importantly, of the Establishment Clause). Throughout the book, Monton's strategy often consists of accepting the Discovery Institute's propaganda at face value, for instance, its recent claims that it opposed the teaching of ID creationism (pp. 12, 135)."

Republicans have been warning citizens about SS for the last couple of decades. Then the Democrats come along and say "Don't listen to those Republicans. Silly, silly Republicans. Why they are only saying these things for their rich buddies" and people believed them.
I'm sick of being "taxed to death", just because a bunch of old moochers think they "deserve it".
Cut em all off, that'll fix the problem. It's like Jesus said in the good book: "Screw em, it's not my problem anyway."
I should have the freedom to pick and choose which taxes should apply to me. Anything less is downright communist and unpatriotic. Right?

Our mighty republics will ever endure.
The Great Soviet Union will live through the ages.
The dream of a people their fortress secure.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin lead us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
And Stalin our leader with faith in the people,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

We fought for the future, destroyed the invaders,
And brought to our homeland the laurels of fame.
Our glory will live in the memory of nations
And all generations will honour her name.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
