Oh Dear.... they don't even have HMO's and PPO's telling them which Doctors they can and cannot see... They don't even get to wait for service unless it is for an Elective Surgery or they are trying to see a Popular Doctor who is not taking new patients..
Zounds,,,No wonder the Republicans told us it was awful.... Good old Republicans saved us from a fate worse than death,,,,,
Funding [edit]
While Ontario receives transfer payments from the federal government of Canada to partially fund health care, OHIP is also supported by general provincial tax revenues and premiums (taxes) paid by employers and individuals. Employers are charged a payroll health care tax (with an exemption for small businesses) and residents of the province pay a health premium (introduced in 2004) as part of their income taxes.
The Ontario Health Premium (OHP) is a component of Ontario's Personal Income Tax system. The OHP is based on taxable income for a taxation year. As of May 2010, an Ontario resident with taxable income (i.e. income after subtracting allowable deductions) of $21,000 pays $60 per year. With taxable income of $22,000, the premium doubles to $120; with taxable income of $23,000, the premium is $180; with taxable income of $24,000, the premium is $240. The premium increases at a decreasing rate thereafter for taxable incomes up to $200,600, at which point the maximum premium of $900 is reached.[1]

And no, I don't buy into any of that nonsense they knew what this or that was hundreds of thousands of years ago.
I see. After asking for evidence, you simply reject the physical evidence, and call it "nonsense." Is that like when a small child puts their fingers in their ears and says "LA LA LA" in an attempt to avoid hearing something?

Some science is very difficult to understand. This is not. Ice samples from earlier eras are analyzed for their carbon dioxide content. Exactly what part of this process do you think is nonsense? The retrieving of ice cores from Antarctica? The chemical analysis used to reveal the amount of carbon dioxide in the samples?

I'm going to post a link that explains this process in simple terms. Simple enough that you could understand it, if you chose to. But I'm pretty certain that you care more about being faithful to your political views than trying to understand the truth about our changing world.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_core

"An ice core is a core sample that is typically removed from an ice sheet, most commonly from the polar ice caps of Antarctica, Greenland or from high mountain glaciers elsewhere. As the ice forms from the incremental build up of annual layers of snow, lower layers are older than upper, and an ice core contains ice formed over a range of years. The properties of the ice and the recrystallized inclusions within the ice can then be used to reconstruct a climatic record over the age range of the core, normally through isotopic analysis. This enables the reconstruction of local temperature records and the history of atmospheric composition.
...

The length of the record depends on the depth of the ice core and varies from a few years up to 800 kyr (800,000 years) for the EPICA core. The time resolution (i.e. the shortest time period which can be accurately distinguished) depends on the amount of annual snowfall, and reduces with depth as the ice compacts under the weight of layers accumulating on top of it. Upper layers of ice in a core correspond to a single year or sometimes a single season. Deeper into the ice the layers thin and annual layers become indistinguishable.

An ice core from the right site can be used to reconstruct an uninterrupted and detailed climate record extending over hundreds of thousands of years, providing information on a wide variety of aspects of climate at each point in time. It is the simultaneity of these properties recorded in the ice that makes ice cores such a powerful tool in paleoclimate research."

You desperate inbred teatards should really work on your scatterbrained insults. So far, I'm a fourth grader in pajamas who read Rules for Radicals, lives in a basement, doesn't have a job, gets free Obamaphones, and is a baby killing commie.

Oh, and hey Poops, when you're feebly attempting to insult someone's intelligence online, try NOT to compare them to the smartest person on the forum...

Thousands of Dollars are paid for care and upkeep of the mansion. Kasich chose to live in his own home. Tax Payers are Paying for the care and upkeep of his home, installing a New Security System and paying his wife to clean a home she should be taking care of anyways. Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with him living in his home. I just don't think Tax Payers should pay for it and take care of it. It was his choice. He could have moved into the Furnished Mansion. Why should Tax Dollars have to pay twice? There are so many places those Tax Dollars are needed

Please post a credible site that demonstrates oil companies blocked alternative energy.
The one thing about oil is it sells itself. Nobody needs to rig the game to sell oil. If the US went to some magical alternative fuel, Europe would be happy to take our oil, so would Japan, China and a host of other consumers.
Nobody on the right is against alternative fuel either. Find an alternative fuel that's just as reliable, just as powerful, just as economical as the fuel we currently use, and we'll be on the same bandwagon with you.
Tell you what. Google oil companies block alternative energy, then you can pick from which of the many sites you consider a viable source.

Which scientific data do you want me to explain? The data that was lied about, or the real data that says there's no global warming?
More and more scientists are breaking from the global warming cult. It's a hoax perpetrated by liberals who want to use agencies like the EPA to control the masses.
You don't strike me as a bright person, but surely even you have noticed that the "scientists" have gradually changed the name from "global warming" to "climate change". So now, any weather phenomenon whatsoever -- tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, drowning polar bears, or ice breakers trapped in the ice -- can be blamed on everything from incandescent light bulbs to cow farts.
Awwww so I, who agrees with the overwhelming majority of the scientific community, isn't as smart as you, who believes in water walking zombies and talking snakes, That's cute. Now go ahead and post us something that shows the scientists lied. Hope your not desperately clutching at climategate right now because like most of the propaganda your camp has stated, it's already been proven to be a rightwing ploy. So many "scandals", so much bullsh1t. I say this is yet another example of how religious people are proven to be the dumbest folks on the planet. You are religious, right?

Actually, I stand corrected. Oil companies are investing in alternative energy sources now, although subsidies in the past have leaned heavily to support fossil fuels. I wonder where we would be right now if we had started looking into alternatives say...back when Jimmy Carter was asking Americans to turn their heat back and was installing solar panels on the roof of the White house. The same ones Drama Ronnie Reagan had destroyed. Yah, yah...I have heard it all before. Jimmy Carter was the most evil man who ever walked the earth before Obama.

It's funny how you guys have been trained to repeat over and over again what a failed president Obama is, but when asked for specifics, you either go with some rightwing and proven to be bogus scandal tactic, or just blurt out some generic nonsense like "He's against our Liberty!". The bottom line is you guys WISH the American voters felt half as stupid as you do for voting for Bush twice. We don't.

There is no evidence to support evolution. Whenever there's a mutation in a creature's DNA, it results in a loss of ability, not a gain. So, it doesn't make much sense for you to insist that this evolution fable be taught in schools, but the religious "fable" be excluded, does it?

Secondhand smoke doesn't cause cancer. If you have a problem with scientific studies, take it up with the American Cancer Institute.

The "97%" number is another hoax. Not only do the majority of Americans not believe in the "global warming crisis", there are many scientists who don't believe it, either.(Remember those 5 Ice Ages you keep refusing to talk about?) The earth changes. You need to accept that.
