Its the government you elected that promised everybody 40 acres and a mule. And a chicken in every pot.
I'm thinking those recalled tires that disintegrated that Firestone was producing might have had a little something to do with Ohio no longer being Tire Capital of the world. By the way, those dangerous and recalled tires were made by non-union scabs as the union was on strike at the time. So not just your "reality" on why Ohio is no longer tire capital of the world has been completely shut down, but also your hatred of the American worker. All in one fell swoop. Also, go look up terms like "freeloader" or "commie" because this Eagle Scout who has worked his entire adult life and never had 400 acres handed to me doesn't fit your little stereotype. Now I wonder if me calling you a bunch of fascists walking in the footsteps of Timothy McVeigh is an accurate portrayal? Oh that's right, I already THOROUGHLY proved those points. Let me know if you need some more direct links to quotes or scientific studies again to prove my point. Betcha' skip over that one, huh little McVeigh.

Yah, you should be ashamed that your parents weren't rich and handed you everything in life because we all know that's what builds character in a responsible adult...right? Now back to the trust fund powdered wig rich boys and their ignorant groupies telling us working people what freeloaders we are...ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha!

Most Wealthy Individuals Earned, Not Inherited, Their Wealth

Without getting too much into my problems with the book, I will say that the idea that a “millionaire” is more likely to be your local business owner rather than someone born into a family of money was new to me.

Recently, PNC Wealth Management conducted a survey of people with more than $500,000 free to invest as they like, a fair definition of “wealthy,” and possibly “millionaire” once you begin including home equity and other assets. Only 6% of those surveyed earned their money from inheritance alone. 69% earned their wealth mostly by trading time and effort for money, or by “working.”

Sponging inheritance money, taking free gubment handouts, and dodging taxes IS a form of "earning".
Just like letting mommy and daddy pay for your medical bills until you're 21 is a form of "personal responsibility"...

exactly...be very specific....how many college educations have you paid for?

in my family you pay it forward......you must come from a greedy family not to have treated you the same way. My guess you also are greedy, and throw your children to the same curb that hit you.

Parents actually raise their children with every tool possible to give their children a leg up in life, and it is also expected normal behavior of them to do so with their children. Parents go in debt to pay for college for their children. When you see your kids teaching their kids, you realize it was worth the sacrifice.

PS: I moved out of my parents house at 18 when going to college, and have never moved back. Speaking of personal responsibilities....I have 5 kids and 4 employees, and a wife who rely on my responsibility to pay them, or drive them to school, or be their best friend, and provide income to shelter and feed the family along with my wife.

The only thing you are responsible for is your shattered life, and being poor. Everything else is Nixon's fault according to you.

only on Mars do parents help their children achieve success according to you. But in America by Obamacare you stay on parents insurance till 26.

Parents are expected to teach their children to replicate behavior they exhibit, so the kids can deal with their own someday.

Setting an example by being one.

Sorry you had a difficult childhood, and bad examples to follow. Don't know how old you are, but tomorrow can be better if you make it so. Ask for help along the way nicely. Lose the chip on your shoulder.

You want birth control pills for women covered? Then make sure you review the healthcare plan of the place you are applying for a job. It's that simple. Either that or buy your own damn pills.
Hey! Do you think we can get OBummer to force insurance companies to cover flat tires on our car too? The way we're going, we won't have to do any thinking at all for ourselves. Government will do all our thinking for us.

I'm glad you asked. Here' some scientific data for you. Read through those 14 points that fascists have had in common throughout history and let me know if ANY of them don't fit your agenda...
http://www.ellensplace.net/fascism.html
Also, let me know if you need some direct quotes of Timothy McVeigh. Careful. They sound EXACTLY like your agenda. I'm talking to the letter. Now go join XXX with his foot in the same bucket. Finally. I didn't mention Goodyear out of my historically documented "rant" as you call it, because I was talking about the tire company that had all those recalls....Next?

Sure it is. I should know, my sister kept my niece and nephew on her medical insurance as long as she could while they were going to college. After all, it's difficult to get medical coverage working part-time and studying at the same time.

As we see, only a fraction of well-to-do people got their money from mommy and daddy. Most worked for it and built their empire themselves. Now that's personal responsibility.

But let's focus on that 6% for a moment. Do you know how many people pizzed that money away or ended up broke after a few years? Just because somebody gives you money doesn't mean you didn't work for it. Having money takes a lot of responsibility and a lot of work. I worked for people that had their company handed down to them. I've seen it in companies I've delivered to. They are all closed up now.

Read some of the lottery stories out there or even buy one of the many books on lottery winners. They didn't know what to do with that kind of money. Giving some people money is like giving a monkey a gun. They will only end up hurting themselves or others with it.

It reminds me of something that happened a few years ago. One of the workers at a company we picked up from quit her job because her husband was in a company lottery with several other workers. I forget now how many millions each employee had, but it was quite a bit.

The people I deal with told me she came in dancing and bragging about the new life she was going to have. She was going to take exotic vacations, buy multiple homes and live like a princess. About two years later, she came back to that sweat shop looking for her job back.

It's like my father always told me "Anybody can make money. An idiot can make money. But the successful people are those that can keep their money."

It's financial envy alright.

They're not trying to make anybody feel bad, they're trying to make them feel guilty. You know, like when you say something bad about big-ears and they call you racist even though you didn't mention a thing about race.

It's how the liberal mind works. I'm sure one day somebody will do some research to figure out how to make that mind right. Maybe some pills or perhaps surgery. In the mind of a liberal, bad people are those who make their own money, and good people are those who take others money. Can you figure out that way of thinking????? Neither can I.

the problem might be these people who call themselves "liberals" are really just people who can't stand anybody else's beliefs or opinions. What makes it worse is they are easily fooled by the politicians they elect. I could sit here and compare obama and bush like red apples to red apples and it makes no difference to them, obama and the left get a free pass. Even when a lot of the things they supposedly oppose wouldn't happen without votes from the left/ obama signing in every piece of crap that comes across his desk.
