Sorry I don't care how much testosterone a man has ... it would never be enough to leave my child for.

I think the husband knew about the affair and wanted to humiliate her, he couldn't go looking for her with the baby in toll,so why not have someone else do his dirty leg work for him??

You're not getting it- she wasted $5000 in taxpayer money on her phony disappearance. She also got the FBI involved, which turned out to be a waste of their time and manpower. Not only that, she also caused a nationwide stir with her phony disappearance. The inducing panic charge against her should be considered a felony- she cause a lot of unnecessary aggravation for nothing and for that, she should be punished to the full extent of the law. Her phony disappearing act is too big to be a misdemeanor, but it's enough to be considered a felony. LOCK HER **** UP!!! She deserves no sympathy from anyone.
Did she make a phone call saying "help help I've been kidnapped!"? or make any other intentional effort to make it seem as though her life was in danger? If she did, then it will come out in court. Otherwise, I can think of plenty of different ways that 'taxpayer money' is wasted every day.$5k is pocket change.

If that is truly the case, then the husband is the one who induced the panic and should be charged.

Who cares...she has the right to take off and do what she wants...the baby was safe and it is NO one's business (especially the Law) to poke into someone's private business...what has she done illegal?...NOT a FKN thing.
You are absolutely right,Jeff. Although she caused her family to worry about where she was,she did nothing illegal. The child was not abandoned, her father was taking care of her. Now her husband needs to move on without her.

Look she can come and go as she would like but it was some one business. Her HUSBANDS,if she would of told him [or her family] the law would not of be looking for her.She was only thinking of herself. How was they to know that some thing didn't happen to her? They had no way of knowing, thanks to her! My heart goes out to the family, glad she is OK.Would not want to have to explain this to the child she said she loved[sorry honey Mommy loved him more]
She caused all of this mess. She should have to pay the time. The family did when trying to find her.The sad thing is,no matter what the law dose, she'll never be able to take away the pain she caused the family. They may forgive, but forget I think not.

She may have done a lousy thing, but it's *still* not illegal! If we go around legally punishing people for committing stupid, but legal acts, then what?
