How many still miss Woody's coffee counters?

By Leon Harrison:
I was a proud member of the former Woody's Restaurant's coffee-counter Two Hour Club; in West Carrollton, it was the unofficial civic and senile-citizen center with tables and THREE big horseshoe coffee counters. Local folks were lost and frowned, in 1999, when the Woody's grocery/bookstore/cake shop/restaurant were closed and torn down. Like ya know, there was and still is no comparable or better place to go. Small straight coffee counters are not the same and that is a shame. Now, senile citizens and loafers pout and shout, doing without, such a place with coffee counters that will let them hang out.
