YOU trust Petroni and Rigano. The majority of the community does not. They will be voted out in two years. Considering the like-minded Bitner-Vaughn ticket was of course supported by the pizza guys, it seems their loss was a statement against the current leadership. All any candidate had to do to win this election was state that they were against the direction of KPR and they were shoo-ins. You are sorely mistaken if you believe Petroni and Rigano have a chance of staying in office.(Personally, I'm ok if they stay - as long as they aren't the majority. I'm all for The Voice of the Other)
Don't worry, it'll all become crystal clear to you in two years.
Are your Blah blah blah comments telling Taxpayers that Ron Malone ran for election to gain control of our school tax dollars, with the pre-arranged "sole" intent to destroy the progress that our current five individual board members have accomplished, in the past two years?

It is agreed that our community is "awakened" to the failed practices of Ron Malone's leadership as high school principal for the PAST thirteen years. State tests rsults show after years in our district's educational system, only 32% of our children were able to score 75% or better on Ohio Achievement Assessment math tests.

It is agreed that our community is "awakened" (thanks to private citizen and Springboro parent, Doug Wiedeman) to the fact of
Ron Malone's failure to put our Students First; and that Ron
Malone ran our Springboro High School Program of Studies like a "union shop" making up classes with scant demand to ensure employement for those whose skills were not in demand. This tactic robbed resources from areas of greater need in the district. Those who suffered the most were the gifted and those
in need of early intervention.

Inquiring Minds continue to question WHY Ron Malone now feels empowered to "run" our school district in the same oligarchical government way in which he ran the Springboro High School as building principal for the past 13 years?

Why does Blah blah blah continue gloating about Ron Malone's
evil pre-arranged vote for revenge AGAINST our children's 21st century classroom education, with a highly qualified, well paid classroom teacher, who supports the highest academic achievement for ALL Springboro students and MAINTAINING fiscal integrity for
the future of our schools and community?

Does Blah blah blah KNOW that this projection, on this blog, of Ron Malone's Pre-Planned hostile leadership agenda, as just ONE of our FIVE school board members, will be rendered as "powerless"
among our FIVE board members, in Ron Malone's SOLE efforts to tear down our good schools, and the progress in our children's classroom education, that has been made in the last two years by our current reform minded board members?

Why would civic-minded taxpayers who take PRIDE in supporting our great schools and community with our hard earned money, just
sit back with No Worries, for Two more years, while our has been
a high school principal, Ron Malone, runs our school district
like a "union shop" doing business as usual, the status quo insanely popular Principal Ron way?

You. Don't. Get it. The majority of the community does not see what the triumvirate-no-more has done in this district over the last two years as progress. Quite the contrary. We can't wait for the new board to work together for the benefit of all in the district, and yes, that includes the teachers. Ron Malone is one of five and will happily work with the entire board to repair the damage that has been done and to continue the handful of good things the last board accomplished. The community is looking forward to a school board that respects its teachers and students enough to listen to them and one that will not resort to unethical, underhanded tactics to push its own political agenda. The Tea Party, on both a national and local level, was a fad, and its voice diminishes more and more every day. The triumvirate-no-more rode the wave, but people are jumping ship in alarming numbers. Say what you want about Ron Malone - we know that you crazies are just beside yourselves that the community is done with your crap. As I've said before,I hope Wiedeman vocally supports Petroni and Rigano if they stupidly waste their money on a bid for reelection because it's obvious that his endorsement is the kiss of death. To repeat since your thick skulls are failing to hear the community: WE WANT THE NEW BOARD TO UNDO MUCH OF WHAT HAS BEEN DONE BY THE CURRENT BOARD. WE WANT COHESION AND RESPECT. WE DO NOT WANT A BOARD THAT SEEKS TO PUSH ITS POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS BELIEFS ON THIS COMMUNITY. It's a Beautiful thing that the community's pride - its schools - is no longer under crappy leadership and can MOVE ON. I'm all for fiscal responsibility, but the way this board handled charter school discussions, creationism, disrespect of its staff, etc. was not right and the community will not stand for it anymore, and we proved it by putting MSA in office. Unlike the current board, MSA will listen to the community who, by the way, believes the teachers deserve more respect than they have been getting, believes that creationism doesn't belong in schools, believes that charter schools are unnecessary in a school of our caliber, etc. you all need to realize that the community thinks the current board sucks and to continue ue many of their policies and tactics would be plain stupid.

Yeah, go right ahead and keep thinking that. The reason KV lost is because they supported the path of the current board and the majority of the community does not. I guess this will be proven when the pizza guys lose by a landslide in two years. What excuse will you use then?

Excuse Me, but should you not correct your statement of support to say "Only the Majority of the Blah blah blah community does NOT support the Progress made by our current board in the past two years?"

Actually, your statement should truthfully say that "Only the Majority of the newly-elected board members, who are Retired Educators, Ron Malone and David Stuckey, do NOT support the Progress made by our current board in the past two years.

The truth about Mr. Malone's refusal last March 2012 to
stand up to the challenge of RAISING THE BAR FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, is well known....

and the truth about Mr.Stuckey is on the website:
http://www.ratemyteachers.com/dave-stuckey/22...

Has Blah blah blah asked Mr. Malone and Mr. Stuckey WHY they do not support this Progress for our Students and Teaches made in the last two years:

Renewal levy that saves taxpayers $6.5 million.

Reduced school fees, lower pay to participate fees, as well as restored busing, and building maintenance.

Money and resources to thegifted and early interventon progrms.

RAISING THE BAR FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS.

Adding ACT/College Essenials class, emphasing early college credit programs through the high school, Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO), Advanced Placement, and Dual Credit courses.

Balancing class sizes, and strengthening our curriculum.

Technology plan with 1100 new computers, wireless access for every building, and laptops to every teacher.

The Real Losers in this election of the TWO Educators Representing Educators, Ron Malone and David Stuckey, is OUR STUDENTS and
OUR 21st CENTURY QUALITY CLASSROOM EDUCATION...

BUT ONLY IF OUR FIRST PLACE WINNER, CHARLES ANDERSON, TURNS OUT TO BE A LOSER OF THE TRUST THAT THIS COMMUNITY OF VOTERS HAS PLACED IN HIS HANDS.

Mr. Anderson's reputation as "a more deserving soul cannot be found in Springboro" preceded his victory over the insanely popular has been a principal, Ron Malone; and the poorly-rated
retired teacher/coach, David Stuckey.

Inquiring minds are now asking Mr. Anderson as he comes on board with our TWO reform minded board members Mr. Petroni AND Mr. Rigano; and our TWO status quo retired educators Mr. Malone AND
Mr. Stuckey....

"What does it profit Charles Anderson if he gains the most votes as BOE elected official, IF he loses his "deserving soul?"

In the May 2013 Springboro Life magazine, Mr. Malone was asked by editor Jill Kelley: What do you think of the school board's direction?

Mr. Malone's answer included saying: The major concern I have with decisions being made out there that the major emphasis seems to be on the physical part of education. There needs to be a re-emphasis on the value of the educator.

Now that Mr. Malone is in the "hot seat" in the board room,
Inquiring Minds are asking just which one of the physical elements of our students first education does he plan to "throw under the bus" in the process of making Mr. Maney and his staf "happy" wth more, more, more of our school tax dollars?

.... in the direction of common sense!

For too long, the Springboro district appeared to work very well, but it lacked CLEAR direction.
With NO plan for textbooks, technology, capital improvements, buses and more, there was no larger course charted for our schools. T

THERE WAS NO COMMON SENSE.

Educate Springboro's common sense approach does not strip the district of the traditions or diversity. It does not ignore it's accomplishments and honors, including "Excellent with Distrinction." It simply gives us a unifying direction that extends beyond any individual building or year.

JUST A YEAR AGO, our district faced a sort of "perfect storm: with needs for everything from buses and books to technology and staffing coming to the surace at the same time. Through good management and some good fortune, our once rudderless ship emerged from that storm with clear leadership and direction.

Clearly there are still challenges, but we are moving in the direction of putting Children First.

Even after plans to invest millions in technology, curriculum, buildings and buses, and even after providing every employee with raises, we are financially prepared to give something back to the taxpayer -- to give back to our community by reducing their tax burden. The renewal levy on the recent ballot saves Taxpayers $6.5 million!

We are meeting and exceeding state mandates as ell as local expectations. We are building a technology backbone, investing in computers, curriculum, buses and buildings -- We Are Putting Children First!

Most important, we are being honest about what is needed through 2017. This is reform at the local level, and this is working together toward sustainability......

Children's First Budgeting Works!

It's for our students, our teacher, our schools

our community, and Our Future Success!

This isn't even worth my time anymore. Educate Springboro is a vile, self-serving organization. It probably started out with good intentions, but their egos got the best of them. Only a handful of people even give them (you?) the time of day anymore. They make my skin crawl. Their time has long since passed, and no amount of money can bring them back. It took far too long for Springboro to see through their insanity, but fortunately we did and we can put it behind us.

By the way, your excessive use of exclamation marks and all caps does not make me buy in to the things you're saying any more than a simple declarative sentence would. Just because you try to make it sound interesting does not make it so. Your constant repetition of the few things that the board did well doesn't help either. Any school board can do those things. It takes a BETTER (all caps) school board to do those things while at the same time respecting its teachers, letting those who know education make curriculum decisions, not wasting money on some charter school, not entering into contracts with clear conflicts of interest, treating PTOs with respect, etc.

But...

HOORAY FOR US!!! WE''RE ON OUR WAY!

And that's Just Super! Thanks to our newly elected school board, WE CAN MOVE FORWARD!!

Inquiring minds question Mr. Malone's "adaptability" to the internal changes and the changes at the state level; since he
acknowledged publicly in a May 2013 interview that he was
not sure that his status quo philosophy was as effective
as it was in 2000 when he was employed as principal.

However, with the strong leadership of our current board, and the business man, Charles Anderson, coming on board, the future looks optimistic for Mr. Malone to raise the bar of his leadership skills to our reform minded vision of our Students First 21st Century education. It is very difficult for older educators to grasp the belief that the future belongs to technology; but
IF Mr. Malone chooses to support our current board's broader vision for our children's future; then we are all optimistic that
Mr. Malone can become a productive member of the FIVE member BOE,
working effectively with our school superintendent, Mr. Petry, and our school district staff!

Contrary to Mr. Malone's leadership style as building principal, serving our schools and community on the school board is NOT a
one-man show; Mr. Malone may have to try harder to learn how to
work effectively with others, accountable to ALL. Question is:
Does Mr. Malone want to succeed as an effective Team Player, doing what's right for our school children and community? Unfortunately,
Mr. Malone already lost his chance to make a good "first impression" in the board room, when he pre-arranged his status quo business as usual performance in front of the TV news, bullying our BOE president, at the last school board business meeting.

"It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome."
