It's the BIG DAY AFTER, or THE NEXT DAY, whichever side you are on in the direction of fair balanced! As in all elections, there are winners and losers; with all sides getting something they want; but none taking it all!

Our schools and community WON BIG with the approval of the REDUCED renewal levy that saves taxpayers $6.5 million! Hooray for Us!

Now that our school's financial success is stable for many years to come... with no NEW money needed for year...there will be no fear in our school district leaders' commitment to ensure that the children of the Springboro community receive an excellent education while keeping the costs of that education affordable, by carefully adhering to responsible spending!

Our Paid for by Educate Springboro endorsement of former BOE Member and 2013 school board candidate, Charles Anderson, brought victory to Educate Springboro's choice of candidates, as their call to endorse Anderson as the third candidate influenced voters to push Anderson into First Place, with the pro-union retired educators Ron Malone and David Stuckey, trailing behind the successful businessman, Charles Anderson, as our FIRST elected board representative! HOORAY FOR EDUCATE SPRINGBORO!

I hope you are as tired of the controversy surrounding the school board as I am. The controversy has been exaggerated by MSA’s supporters to gain advantage and influence this election against the incumbent board members. The best way to move beyond the controversy is to not perpetuate it by electing one side then the next repeatedly. We can now move ahead for the next two years with a fair and balanced school board; TWO board members supporting using our school tax dollars to deliver the highest level of education by raising the bar well past the state minimums, striving to challenge our children, parents, and staff to reach higher....

And we now have elected TWO board members who are former school employees, who want to change the Students First direction in which our current board is successfully leading, pledging to re-define the role of a school board member, putting the re-emphasis on the value of the adult educators first. And that's a re-instate Malone's status quo thing.... And a detriment to our Students first 21st century quality classroom education.

Mr. Anderson, who was projected during the campaign to be the Third wheel, easily rolled into FIRST place winner with the ES endorsement.
Now, as ONE individual among the FIVE individual
board members, Mr.Anderson will be the odd man out, OR,
the swing vote in every decision that our "Students First VS Adult Educators First" board representatives will consider in the best interest of our Students First! And that's going to be a very divisive thing for our schools and community!

So, we've only just begun the big controversial issues that will be dealt with in our Springboro
School Board of Education regular business meetings, conducted in an open and transparent
way in front of the TV cameras!

Threats? Please provide some evidence and don't just make innuendo's.

Are you really disappointed??

Were you also disappointed over the threats and harassment by MSA fans when Kelly Kohls was on the board?

How's life in the BUBBLE. I guess one out of three ain't bad. 400 votes were pulled by your signs. That's the difference between Malone and Anderson. 400 out of the 2300 that voted for B/V. With this kind of logic, no wonder you were under the impression of the "great accomplishments" of the current BOE.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Anderson ran with Malone and Stuckey. Great teachers make great students.

I for one believe the vast majority of residents of this community are much smarter than you give them credit for being.

I for one, do not believe that the people of this community, 20,000 plus registered voters, are the stupid brainless cows that you suggest are so easily manipulated.

Since Mr. Anderson was easily the acknowledged vote getter from across the community that voted yesterday, it may be easy to deduce that regular private sector business smarts carried more sway than simple name recognition.

Balanced budgets, customer's needs met, money in the bank are what drives the private sector economy. Mr. Anderson embodies those virtues in his private business, let us hope that he brings that outlook to the board of education as well.

Handily? He outpolled Anderson by only 413 votes. You would think that with your endorsement (and signs) and the ES endorsement (and signs) that it would have been more than than.

By the looks of it only 17% of the people who voted for B/V also voted for Anderson. One would think the endorsement of ES and yourself would have pulled more than that!

It must be very scary for Malone and Stuckey to face coming out of the dark tunnel vision of the union hall, into the Sunshine Laws of the Board of Education open and transparent public business meetings!

Now that Malone and Stuckey are just Number Two and Number Three of a once powerful Threesome alliance, they will no longer have special "huddling together" status; but EACH individual will be held accountable, by the community as a whole for individual decisions made, whether they are Students First OR Adult Educators First! No more secret reports of non-professional jobs poorly done by the retired insanely popular SHS princiPAL.

Blue Ribbon Symbolism and No Substance in quality professional leadership WILL not be tolerated by taxpayers, during the service of our TWO BOE minority members, who are the only two retired
educators on the board!

I'd like to "help the MSA supporters" turn that frown of disappointment upside down and help them all come together now
... and why not start spreading around some of that "lovin' Malone" with a smile and have a nice day!

Whatever happened to that all that business as usual happiness being spread around by our "insanely popular" has been a SHS principal for the past thirteen years?

Mr. Anderson enjoyed a much wider range of community support.

What difference does it make?

Rumor has it that the end result of all those secret basement meetings was that only Mr. Anderson was
needed to be elected, as top vote getter, from the ES
threesome ticket of Anderson, Bitner, Vaughn.

Let's face it. Politics is dirty business and Mr. Bitner and
Mr. Vaughn were both handed a dirty deal paid for by private citizen, disguised as a one-man battle against the union forces.

Mr. Anderson was the only one endorsed by all parties involved. One camp pulled 5000+ votes, the other 2300+ votes. Because you could only pick 3 413 of the 2300+ votes (17%) also voted for Anderson and therefor padding his totals.

You did see the press release that stated:
"Mr. Anderson strongly denounces this and has requested that the signs be taken down as he did NOT authorize this in any shape or form.
Furthermore, Mr. Anderson is NOT endorsing the Bitner/Vaughn ticket."

Considering the signs were put up by ES which is run by P/R it doesn't sound like Anderson will be camping with them.

Spin it how you want. Your reputation preceeds you (as does the support your mailers and signs got from the voters).

Your grapevine missed something. Here is the quote from the press release:

Furthermore, Mr. Anderson is NOT endorsing the Bitner/Vaughn ticket."

I don't think that Anderson will be backing the ES camp, oh wait, that would be the 2 remaining board members.

Threatening? I don't see any threats. Care to share your experience?

Not coming together? Perhaps they don't take kindly to the unity shown by MSA supporters. Here are a few of the words used to describe B/V supporters and the candidates themselves...as seen n the Active Springboro Community page and here on Topix....REPEATEDLY AND REGULARLY.

dishonest, no integrity, unethical, stupid, idiots, dumbasses, stupidness, pathetic, broken, big jokes, thieves, underhanded, arrogant, crook, fat ass bloviator, liars, crazy, racists, crybabies, morons, group of dirty thugs, big creeps, slime ball person, having no balls...well you get the idea. And these examples are just from yesterday and today. I won't even bring up the hatred at KPR, and anyone that remotely aligns themselves with a Tea party.

You won...and are STILL bitter and sanctimonious in victory. And then have the wherewithal to ask why they aren't embracing your idea of unity and healing.

I understand this is your first taste of victory in the last dozen years or so, but act like you've been there before. It's not like you just elected the Pope...it's only a small town school board election for crying out loud. No confetti parades through town are needed. Why in the world would anyone claim they would cry for 2 days straight (like they did after levy failures) if all 3 of MSA were not elected. Good grief, relax and take a breath, unbunch the panties.

It's only a school board.

Congrats and GOOD LUCK to Malone Stuckey and Anderson.
