Congrats on winning the "Most Clueless Comment" award of the evening!! When both sides included him on their ticket, even without permission from your side, it shouldn't surprise anyone that he received the most votes!! Your constant attack on Malone is tiresome.<quoted text>
The fact that Mr. Anderson outpolled all of the candidates is telling as well, one would have expected the well known and equally well respected Mr. Malone to lead the pack.

To those on here too cowardly to own their beliefs, but instead hide behind fake names and "locations" (i.e. Columbus, OH)...damn straight Khatibloo is Iranian. But that's about the only thing you got right. It must be beautiful in your bliss. After all, with as much ignorance as you demonstrate with your posts, it's clear you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. If you want a real debate, or if you're capable of holding an educated conversation, feel free to reach out and I'll be happy to oblige. If you'd like to continue to steal information from FB to post here, then stay tuned, I'm sure I'll have more to say for your reading pleasure. If you'd rather continue your cowardly posts, then carry on...I'm sure it says NOTHING about your character.

"Look at these last names"?? Are you kidding? I'm not sure I should expect anything more from someone who doesn't have the cajones to own their opinion. And yet you claim the "Housewives" have nothing of value to say. Yup, you're right...because you bring SO MUCH VALUE to the table. I try not to stoop to name-calling, but anything more complicated may elude your understanding. So I'll keep it simple for you...you're a dumb ass.
PS - these "Housewives" just schooled you and your type...check out the election results.

...the fact that Mr.Anderson outpolled all of the candidates is
telling community members what a hypocrite the Great Bloviater, paid for by private citizen, really is .... leading with the ES endorsement of Anderson... in the direction of deceit and manipulating Springboro voters.

The following is a heartfelt dedication to MSA after their collective election victory yesterday...
Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every promise you break
Every step you take
We'll be watching you
Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every thought you weigh
We'll be watching you
Every move you make
Every promise you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
We'll be watching you

I look forward to my new union-first overlords.
How long til they propose a new tax levy?
#28824 Nov 6, 2013
MSA will listen, the question is: will the current board finally wake up and see the direction the voters have chosen.
Since: Dec 09

Congratulations to Lori Kershner on her win in the Ward #1 race. Good luck and best wishes !

First, as already stated, the fact that many people (you included) kept stumping for Anderson explains this difference. Notice that the number is only 400 more than Malone. One would conclude that out of the 2300 people that voted for V/B, only 400 were moved to also vote for Anderson. Seems like the signs put up Saturday along with your V/B/A drum beating had very little influence.
Second, if people were only interested in having their taxes reduced they would have voted NO for the levy (a move that would have reduced them more than voting yes) as almost 25% of the people did.
Was the decision to stay away from the public debates a factor? I think it's safe to say it wouldn't have made the numbers any worse. No debate means No choice
The one take away should be that ES put alot of money as well as their backing which was just wasted money. Not very good budgeting if you ask me. Their little stunt on Saturday was seen for as what it was. A desperate attempt by a desperate organization.
The people of Springboro have spoken loudly and clearly.

It's very disappointing that the supporters of Vaughn and Bitner are only coming out and threatening Malone, Anderson and Stuckey, rather than coming together and promising to help the schools.

A love song dedicated to MSA...this is getting CREEPY/WIERD!
First the song is Every Breath You Take (off the album Synchronicity)
Second, you forgot:
"Since you've gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but it's you I can't replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep crying baby, baby please"

With all the fear mongering and doom and gloom before the election, what did you expect?
One needs to only look at the guiding principals of MSA:
"Promote School-Community Unity
Re-Define the Role of a School Board Member
Promote Internal School District Unity
Promote a Variety of Educational Opportunities for All Students
Make Balanced, Fiscally Responsible Decisions
Make Decisions Considering the Needs, Interests, and Concerns of
the Community as a Whole"
In those guiding principals the word "unity" is used twice. Not ONCE is it used on the B/V site.
Maybe "Unity" just isn't their thing....

better clean up your own camp first, i.e. sarah jobe, before slinging accusations at others.

It's the BIG DAY AFTER, or THE NEXT DAY, whichever side you are on in the direction of fair balanced! As in all elections, there are winners and losers; with all sides getting something they want; but none taking it all!
Our schools and community WON BIG with the approval of the REDUCED renewal levy that saves taxpayers $6.5 million! Hooray for Us!
Now that our school's financial success is stable for many years to come... with no NEW money needed for year...there will be no fear in our school district leaders' commitment to ensure that the children of the Springboro community receive an excellent education while keeping the costs of that education affordable, by carefully adhering to responsible spending!
Our Paid for by Educate Springboro endorsement of former BOE Member and 2013 school board candidate, Charles Anderson, brought victory to Educate Springboro's choice of candidates, as their call to endorse Anderson as the third candidate influenced voters to push Anderson into First Place, with the pro-union retired educators Ron Malone and David Stuckey, trailing behind the successful businessman, Charles Anderson, as our FIRST elected board representative! HOORAY FOR EDUCATE SPRINGBORO!
I hope you are as tired of the controversy surrounding the school board as I am. The controversy has been exaggerated by MSA’s supporters to gain advantage and influence this election against the incumbent board members. The best way to move beyond the controversy is to not perpetuate it by electing one side then the next repeatedly. We can now move ahead for the next two years with a fair and balanced school board; TWO board members supporting using our school tax dollars to deliver the highest level of education by raising the bar well past the state minimums, striving to challenge our children, parents, and staff to reach higher....
And we now have elected TWO board members who are former school employees, who want to change the Students First direction in which our current board is successfully leading, pledging to re-define the role of a school board member, putting the re-emphasis on the value of the adult educators first. And that's a re-instate Malone's status quo thing.... And a detriment to our Students first 21st century quality classroom education.
Mr. Anderson, who was projected during the campaign to be the Third wheel, easily rolled into FIRST place winner with the ES endorsement.
Now, as ONE individual among the FIVE individual
board members, Mr.Anderson will be the odd man out, OR,
the swing vote in every decision that our "Students First VS Adult Educators First" board representatives will consider in the best interest of our Students First! And that's going to be a very divisive thing for our schools and community!
So, we've only just begun the big controversial issues that will be dealt with in our Springboro
School Board of Education regular business meetings, conducted in an open and transparent
way in front of the TV cameras!

Threats? Please provide some evidence and don't just make innuendo's.
Are you really disappointed??
Were you also disappointed over the threats and harassment by MSA fans when Kelly Kohls was on the board?

Wow, let the spin machine begin.......

Hypocrite - a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
My name is on my own opinions, unlike yourself who hides behind various nom de guerres to cast your aspersions.
And you will be pleased to note that I supported Mr. Anderson as a man of experience, acknowledged business acumen, and past board experience. As everyone else must have agreed as he outpolled everyone else handily.
#28835 Nov 6, 2013
How's life in the BUBBLE. I guess one out of three ain't bad. 400 votes were pulled by your signs. That's the difference between Malone and Anderson. 400 out of the 2300 that voted for B/V. With this kind of logic, no wonder you were under the impression of the "great accomplishments" of the current BOE.
Hate to burst your bubble, but Anderson ran with Malone and Stuckey. Great teachers make great students.

I for one believe the vast majority of residents of this community are much smarter than you give them credit for being.
I for one, do not believe that the people of this community, 20,000 plus registered voters, are the stupid brainless cows that you suggest are so easily manipulated.
Since Mr. Anderson was easily the acknowledged vote getter from across the community that voted yesterday, it may be easy to deduce that regular private sector business smarts carried more sway than simple name recognition.
Balanced budgets, customer's needs met, money in the bank are what drives the private sector economy. Mr. Anderson embodies those virtues in his private business, let us hope that he brings that outlook to the board of education as well.
