And the best part of all about the things they support from the last election,
ALL of those items were accomplished WITHOUT the aid of those $30,000,000 levies Mr. Malone and company swore we needed or we would go over a financial cliff.
Is this choice really that hard?

Vote for the three who did not dumb down the high school curriculum
Vote Bitner, Vaugh, and Anderson
#28717 Nov 4, 2013
But WITH the aid of state money (common core included) and pipeline revenue.
Also MUCH time wasted talking about issues that have NOTHING to do with state standards. How does taking a "controversial issues" class help you score on the SAT?
Enough of the so-called "children's first" that became "christian's first"!
#28718 Nov 4, 2013
Again WHERE IS THE PROOF?(like you always like to say). BACK UP YOUR FACTS (you know you can't).
#28719 Nov 4, 2013
Jim & David, keep up the good fight! We love you! You guys rock!
#28720 Nov 4, 2013
Vote for the candidates whose names start with a letter after 'C':
#28721 Nov 4, 2013
SCARE TACTICS ARE FOR THE WEAK!
Can anyone answer how we will end up with a UNION CONTROLLED board when only 1 of the 5 candidate have belonged to a union.(Unless Bitner and Vaughn have and aren't admitting it, they never show up to answer questions because they cannot think for themselves).
Part of being in an election is running and putting everything out for the public to base a decision on (including the company you work for, which Vaugn did but Bitner didn't).
One should be asking :
What are they hiding?
What are they afraid of?
What kind of representatives would they be?
Only candidates who have the fortitude to show up for public debates deserve to be considered.
Only the EDUCATED should lead our EDUCATORS.
#28722 Nov 4, 2013
MALONE? STUCKEY? For what reason would district voters want to choose to elect two Former educators who don't know the first thing about large scale budgets and multi-year budget forecasting?
OH, YEAH! I almost forgot! Both Malone and Stuckey claim they're... "FOR THE KIDS".
If Malone and Stuckey were elected to Springboro school board, they would commence placing 110% of their focus on teachers and staff with our students seeing only trickle-down benefits. Electing Malone Stuckey would hasten a return to the David Baker era. Of course you remember the David Baker regime! That's when taxpayers in Springboro schools were used, abused and manipuated on a wholsale level with FAILED TAX LEVIES THAT WERE COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY IN THE FIRST PLACE!
#28723 Nov 4, 2013
Go own, you can admit it now , this community did not need to hand $30,000,000 plus to the unions to accomplish what has transpired since the last school board election.
You will feel better when you confront the truth, we are now voting on a reduced millage for a renewal levy, another plus is taxpayers get to keep more of their own money in their own pockets.
You can also admit that there will still be a surplus at the end of the forecast even after the reduced renewal passes.
Now be truthful, doesn't that feel better than the chronic hammering of "give us more money"?

A vote for Bitner and Vaughn is a vote for Rigano.
It's rather pathetic that Rigano invokes 911 to push his extreme right-wing views on religion in politics, apparently derived in part from the fantasies in the materials provided to him by the Institute on the Constitution.
He does this at 057:00 here:
That's certainly disgusting in and of itself, but it's especially offensive (and just dumb) because the Institute on Constitution pushes the theory that 911 was an inside job - that is, that the Bush administration, the Armed Forces, the fire department, police department, etc. orchestrated 911. This is just the most disgusting and stupid conspiracy theory, as it's offensive to the survivors of 911 and others who were traumatized by 911, and EVERY SINGLE CLAIM of these disgusting extremists has been immediately refuted.
1. Pastor David Whitney, one of the chief figures of the Institute on the Constitution, happily appeared on a 911 conspiracy podcast:
In fact, starting at 54:00, he seems to endorse those who believe that the New World Order did 911, stating that "tyrants of the world have a plan for our country" ... "911 was a big piece in moving that plan forward."
Also, if you listen to it, you'll note that the conspiracy nut hosting the podcast is one of the hosts for the Institute on the Constitution.
2. They published an article by Paul Craig Roberts, in which he repeats his belief that the government's account of 911 is the conspiracy theory: archive.theamericanview.com/index.php...
Paul Craig Roberts is a well-known conspiracist in the 911 Truther community: www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1456...
3. John Lofton, another chief figure at the Institute on the Constitution, led an angry podcast denouncing a very fair ABC News report on 911 Truthers:
There are some gems here:
10:00 - states that the ABC reporter who did a fair report on Truthers should be ashamed of himself
15:35 - "what really happened on 911"
16:20 - government is pushing a coverup
25:50 - ABC involved in a massive cover-up
33:30 - had interviewed Richard Gage, the most prolific proponent of the controlled demolition silliness
34:30 - when speaking of the Gage CD, indicates that the 911 truther claims are legitimate
36:10 - repeats the nanothermetic dust claim, which is supposedly evidence for explosives (but all of the evidence is laughable)
42:00 - doubts if we can even know that bin Laden ordered the attack, because he can't understand whatever language bin Laden speaks
4. When you purchase the "Constitution host kit" from the Institute on the Constitution - apparently the place where the otherwise uneducated Ricki Pepin got her information on the Constitution - you are sent a copy of "September 11 Revisited: Were Explosives Used to Bring Down the Buildings?" As you might have figured out, the documentary concludes that explosives were used in the Towers.
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT RIGANO, PETRONI KOHLS WANT TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION!!!

What does Bitner or Vaughn know about "large scale budgets and multi-year budget forecasting"? At least Malone has seen a school budget.
#28726 Nov 4, 2013
Speaking of scare tactics... That's like saying the "fox should guard the chicken coop".
It's much better to have professional business leaders and citizens in charge.
Let the unions manage themselves.
#28727 Nov 4, 2013
And when the renewal DOESN'T PASS?
Anyone who would be interested in voting for the renewal because it lowers their taxes would know that NOT voting for the renewal will lower their taxes even more than if they voted for it.
In the end isn't that what it's about? Keeping money for yourself instead of putting it to the common good?
#28728 Nov 4, 2013
All of your union love must have gone to your head because it seems you have trouble with reading, comprehending and retaining information. As another post has already asked you:
How many times does the question have to be answered before you stop asking the same question? It has been answered twice. See below.
AtLeastUrLiesR Consistant: "Stuckey has been a member of the SEA. Malone's wife is a member of the SEA. Anderson's wife is a former teacher. There are certainly bias in those affiliations. I also noticed that Bitner did release the name of his company way back when someone asked him (I still don't understand how that information was relevant). It was even plastered all over facebook on a meme that was created by your friend Stephanie Bindemann. So I'm SURE you saw it and are only trying to perpetuate false information once again."
Doug Weideman: "Union controlled boards are elected with the aid and support of the union, its membership, and its supporters.
Unfortunately for the taxpayers they often repay their supporters kindness from the largesse of the taxpayers.

Remember, you also have a choice is your local government. WADE & LAMB would want you to think that since they have been in office for over 30 years, that they know what is best for you.
Think again. It is TIME for a CHANGE.
Consider a more conservative approach. Your personal budget, and your family will thank you!
#28730 Nov 4, 2013
Tomorrows's Springboro schools renewal levy WILL PASS thanks to the wisdom and leadsership of our school board. All five board members - Kohls, Kull, Miller, Petroni and Rigano - worked diligently with our district's administration in order to justify a 15% rollback. No debate, YOU ought to thank our five current board members for their extremely hard work in turning around this district's fiscal disaster.
Now, Petroni and Rigano through Educate Springboro have endorsed David Bitner, Kolton Vaughn and Charles Anderson to fill the three soon to be vacant board seats. Bitner, Vaughn and Anderson have business knowledge and experience. These three pro-active candidates will be getting my three votes tomorrow.
Thank You, Jim & David!
#28731 Nov 4, 2013
Malone has seen budgets, alright! Each and every year during his 13 years as principal, our former high school principal Malone would examine any given year's fiscal budget for only the time it would take for him to make and submit wish-lists to pad the back pockets of his friends in the SEA.
#28732 Nov 4, 2013
Bitner's business experience? Still haven't heard it.
As far as voting it will be for those who showed up at the debate.
The same debate that was good enough for Rigano and Petroni to show up at in 2011.
No debate, no choice.
#28733 Nov 4, 2013
Shoud I also thank them for all the publicity? You may want church in schools but I don't. Also there was the speaker that unfurlled a confederate flag in the room and then was welcome to come back and speak again!
#28734 Nov 4, 2013
One day away from election and I still do not have any idea what Malone and Stuckey stand for, however I do know the platform of Bitner and Vaughn and that is why they are getting the 4 votes from my family. The MSA supporters tend to spend more time calling foul and ethics violations then getting the views of their candidates out. Standing along one of the most traveled roads in Springboro and chanting does not tell voters anything.
I believe MSA will be very surprised how many Springboro residents are supporting Bitner and Vaughn and are hoping to get rid of Malone, one of the last remains of the Baker years. Of course we all still remember the years of levies and lies Baker pushed on the community and Malone supported every time we get our property tax bill. Another reason to finally place Malone in retirement.
