Then the voting populace would have spoken and rejected their arguments.

I don't see that as happening, they actually had arguments and points that are solid and based upon fact as opposed to emotion or the demands of a union.

In the end three will be elected, you might as well serve the interest of the community and vote for the ones you feel best qualified to best serve our community.

Vote for the ones who had nothing to do with dumbing down the high school curriculum

Can anyone answer how we will end up with a UNION CONTROLLED board when only 1 of the 5 candidate have belonged to a union.(Unless Bitner and Vaughn have and aren't admitting it, they never show up to answer questions because they cannot think for themselves).
Part of being in an election is running and putting everything out for the public to base a decision on (including the company you work for, which Vaugn did but Bitner didn't).
Makes one ask:
What are they hiding?
What are they afraid of?
What kind of representatives would they be?
Only candidates who have the fortitude to show up for public debates deserve to be considered.
Only the EDUCATED should lead our EDUCATORS.

Do we really want to know what happens IF Anderson, Malone, and Vaughn edge out Bitner and Stuckey?

I hope you are as tired of the controversy surrounding the school board as I am. The controversy has been exaggerated by MSA’s supporters to gain advantage and influence this election against the incumbent board members. The best way to move beyond the controversy is to not perpetuate it by electing one side then the next repeatedly. Bitner and Vaughn are independent thinkers without allegiance to any faction. Let’s end the controversy by electing them.

On Tuesday, November 5th,
Don't feel obligated to vote for three!
You can end the controversy by voting for just TWO!

Vote for BOTH conservatives
David Bitner AND Kolton Vaughn for Springboro School Board!
It Just Takes Two...
To Win...
The Majority...
of Three open seats in the board room!

Remember in November that Doug often get's buyers remorse, and as he did on this topix blog recently, publicly attacked elected official Kelly Kohls, accusing her of forgetting her "supporters" and using other people's money for her gain; and telling lies about her good leadership, falsely accusing her of letting
$90,000 of taxpayers money get away with a BOE 3-2 majority
vote on a basketball contract during public meeting about a year ago. Where's the "kudos" to Doug in that?

in order to deliver the highest level of education we must raise the bar well past state minimums and strive to challenge our children, parents, and staff to reach higher. We can andmust do better, our children's future depends on our actions today.

On Tuesday, November 5th,

DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO VOTE FOR THREE!

Has anyone asked Bitner and Vaughn if they support the teachings of the Kohls/Rigano/Petroni-endorsed Maryland-based group that advocates for 911 conspiracy theories (believing that the government did it), the secession of the South, the belief that the government is trying to kill half of the population, and other wacky nutjob theories?

Keep in mind that the classes on U.S. history endorsed by Kohls/Rigano/Petroni are taught by a person without qualifications who is also peddling a miracle diet that she claims can cure 80% of all disease. Do Bitner and Vaugh also endorse that snake oil saleswoman?

Watch channel 2 news tonight to see Charles Anderson's interview. He is calling out the lying Bitner/ Vaughn and their associates. The only way for them to get votes is to lie to the public. Shame on all of you!

Why not Just say No to spreading lies...

Unfortuantely, one very intelligient private citizen in our community has the money to take on a one man battle against the union, turning this very important school board campaign into a THREE RING CIRCUS promoting the campaign of Bitner-Vaughn-Anderson that doesn't even exist, but WHY?

If you believe that leveraging school fees, services, personnel decisons, safety, or infrastructure maintenance to threaten families in order to influence regular or levy elections is wrong...If you believe overtaxing the taxpayers is wrong...
If you believe transparency in government is the best possible policy....

Then LOOK AT TODAY AND THE FUTURE!

Please consider joining with others who believe as our
conservative school board candidates believe and vote for
BOTH David Bitner AND Kolton Vaughn, as our next TWO elected
board representatives!

It was never about the money, it was about the will to raise the level of expectations and the incumbent changes necessary to drive the level of achievement higher.
Mr. Malone year after year was encouraged to raise the bar, he responded just the opposite.
Mr. Malone spent inordinate amounts of time attempting to get more money from the community.
Ten years ago it was noted by David Baker, then Superintendent, on Mr. Malone's performance evaluation summary:
"Dr. Malone has been a strong supporter of our bond levy and continues to devote large amounts of time to this project"
If only he would have paid as much attention to the High Schools That Works recommendations on improving our schools.
Even David Baker was pushing for more rigor in our high school.
In August 2008, one of the goals he gave Mr. Malone was to increase the amount of participation in our A/P program.
#11) Increase student enrollment in rigorous courses (AP and Honors) by 15%.
I think everyone knows how that goal turned out.
The Warren County Education Service Center audit report from December 2010 had this to say:
"Although SHS offers numerous AP courses and PSEO options, only 20 percent students report they attempted to earn college credit during high school. This is a DECREASE of 43 percent from 2008, and 60 percent below the HSTW goal. See Table 8. "
Mr. Baker asked for a 15% increase in 2008, Mr. Malone delivered a 43% DECREASE two years later.
What is left to be said?
Vote for the guys who did not dumb down the high school curriculum.
Vote Bitner, Anderson, and Vaughn
Doug, tell us why you are pulling Anderson in on this ticket? Are you running scared? The deceit and illegal tactics you have stooped to this election is embarrassing once again to this district. All of you need to leave. What shall you do when we finally get 3 honest citizens on this board who care
about these kids and aren't in it for their own personal agendas?

So much for bringing the community unity.

People are free to endorse and vote for whomever they wish.

If Educate Springboro believes the best people for the job are Bitner, Vaughn, and Anderson then they should promote their candidacy.

Stuckey has been a member of the SEA. Malone's wife is a member of the SEA. Anderson's wife is a former teacher. There are certainly bias in those affiliations. I also noticed that Bitner did release the name of his company way back when someone asked him (I still don't understand how that information was relevant). It was even plastered all over facebook on a meme that was created by your friend Stephanie Bindemann. So I'm SURE you saw it and are only trying to perpetuate false information once again.

You call Malone an honest citizen? You'd better think again. If Malone had been honest and transparent, corruption within Boro boosters would have never been permitted to escalate to the point that it did.

Union controlled boards are elected with the aid and support of the union, its membership, and its supporters.

Unfortunately for the taxpayers they often repay their supporters kindness from the largesse of the taxpayers.

Winning friends and influencing people with other people's money.

Watched the news! Saw a few great campaign signs expressing
differing opinions -- and of course the political opposition of "fair and balanced" trying to silence differing opinions from being expressed -- just business as usual with status quo threats of legal action; but no deceit and no lies are coming from those campaign signs that were shown on the news.
