split the conservative ticket and conquer the school board election for the union majority school board candidates
threesome - Malone,Stuckey,Anderson.
Could it be that "insider Don" already knows the fool-proof plan that pro-union lover, Ron Malone, will be ONE of the three elected officials come November 5; and that Don wants to make sure that the NEITHER of the TWO Conservative candidates are elected?
Actually I have come to respect Mr. Miller's judgement, when presented with the facts the past year and a half he generally made the right decision regardless of whom you believe he is affiliated with in this universe. If he challenged a position it made the opposition sharpen its argument to win his support and that served all involved well.

The person who has lost my support as I learned more about the machinations of board politics is the ever preening Mrs. Kohls. While many of the attacks upon her personal life were uncalled for and just mean, her professional demeanor and actions provided much fodder for the fire.

I strongly disagree with the opinion posted on this blog... that board member Kelly Kohls let a private group walk off with "money."

I did not agree with board members Kelly Kohls, Don Miller, and Wendy Kull who had the majority vote to approve the contract; but I do remember that the board listened to all comments made by participating citizens; and the board listened to the public comments that Mr.Petrey made to the board, in arguement of all the good things that accepting that money right now could do "for the kids."
This action was taken during the public board meeting, open and transparent, and the majority vote of three board members in favor of accepting the contract is legally exactly how the board should be conducting all business. Therefore, neither of the three board members, Kelly Kohls, Don Miller, nor Wendy Kull, who approved a legal contract (which the superintendent had brought to the board)"let" money walk away.

Truth be told, if Kelly Kohls had voted No with Jim Rigano and David Petroni, then Kelly's political opposition most likely would have
pre-arranged another community-wide hissy fit in front of the TV cameras, demanding that this board show respect, and vowing to vote for revenge and take back "THEIR" board, once again returning
sanity and Pride to the boro board room.

Let's Stay Focused on the $54 Million Dollar
question:

HOW WOULD A UNION CONTROLLED SCHOOL BOARD USE
YOUR TAXES?

This is a pivotal school board election. The outcome of this election will affect the direction of this district for years, and possibly decades to come. We may choose to regress toward a repetition of many of the mistakes this district has made in the past by consciously voting for a union-controlled school board.

Or we can stay the course by continuing in a fiscally responsible manner, ensuring that meeting kids’ educational needs are the first priority. The school board exists to represent the interests of parents and the public providing a check and balance to assure the school system meets the needs of the community.
Parent and community representation are critical. David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn are both parents of children enrolled in Springboro Schools and have committed to making education their top priority. Bitner and Vaughn support the “Children First” philosophy.

Two of David’s and Kolton’s opponents – Ron Malone, former high school principal and David Stuckey a former teacher – retired this last year. Electing these two and their partner Charles Anderson would create a school board where none of the 5 members is parent with children enrolled in school. My advice is to elect a couple of men with young kids to the board. The school district already has 400 employees with Education background and experience.

Unions are doing to public education what they have done to GM and Chrysler. Quality of education is declining as the unions force more money into compensation and away from improving the product – highly educated children. The result is persistent requests for additional taxes as the school system’s resources are drained.

Our board has been able to strike a balance that is sustainable, but negotiations will begin again in March 2015. The teacher’s union supports the Malone, Stuckey, Anderson ticket and hopes to get two very friendly allies on the school board. It is important to have Bitner and Vaughn on the board as advocates for parents and children during the next round of negotiations.
A UNION CONTROLLED BOARD WILL PLACE PRIORITY ON MEETING THE DESIRES OF ITS MEMBERS.

On November 5th, please vote for our only TWO
non-union school board candidates, Parents
Representing Parents, BITNER/VAUGHN, who should
be our next two elected board representatives.

Or you could just say Mrs. Kohls showed us her true profile in courage, by taking the easy way out and abandoning her so called "principles" in the hopes of buying the love and approbation of people who did not care for her.

Buying friends with other people's money.

Cost the children a lot, the taxpayers $90,000, and they still don't like her.

Vote Anderson, Bitner, and Vaughn for less cynical board members.

Mr. Weideman, did Kolhs not do what you told her to do or somthin?

You have turned your venom on her, Why? Did you see she isn't controlled by you. You can't tell her to follow your angry self.
Your friend Wendy Kull also voted with Kolhs and Don Miller. The vote Mr. Weidiman, was 3-2. You couldn't get your close friend to vote your way either so why is Kolhs your victim now?

I see, eating your own when they don't comply.

No, I simply despise hypocrisy and those who indulge in situational ethics for their own benefit.

WOW! It does appear, Springboro voters, that the Great Bloviater has imploded with greed over not getting his money's worth of whatever he expected from an elected official in this school district!

Guess hell has no fury like a bloviating sign-maker scorned!

Now that our outgoing Springboro School Board President has been sliced and diced by the Great
Bloviater and serve up to Malone/Stuckey/Anderson for dinner...

can we expect that our SEA will have our children first served up for dinner in the next school board election?

Wonder what "signs" of clever mantra bloviating will we see in November 2015?

EDUCATE SPRINGBORO ENDORSES CHARLES ANDERSON

The following is an exerpt from "In the Direction of Decision", released earlier this morning by Educate Springboro.

...Educate Springboro supports a slate of three candidates, Charles Anderson, David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn for Springboro Board of Education. David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn bring their perspective as parents, taxpayers and concerned citizens to provide more balance in board perspectives. We are also confident that with the addition of the business acumen Charles Anderson has accumulated in his many years of service to the community, our district can continue to be sustainable. Keeping our students as the first priority, supporting our teachers, and being the voice of the community in public education is our goal. The addition of Anderson, Bitner, and Vaughn aid us all in accomplishing that goal.

Educate Springboro is also FOR the renewal. Issue 14 is a reduced renewal levy. In good faith, we’ve balanced the budget and met our obligations. When it became clear that the district could meet its needs with less money, the board voted to request lower millage in the renewal levy in November. Not only have we proven that we can live within our means, but now every stakeholder in this district—our students and families, our staff and teachers, and the taxpayers--will benefit.

Please join Educate Springboro in voting

FOR KOLTON VAUGHN for School Board, and

o Children First Budgeting plan works! But, only if the school district has a reform-minded majority of elected officials to work the successful plan. As a school district voter, I first heard of the children’s first budget plan at a community meeting of concerned citizens in Springboro, a few years ago. At that time, our board representatives were 4-1 tax and spend lovers, but in 2011, Springboro voters elected a children’s first budget majority; and it is amazing what has been accomplished in our school district in less than two years!
It has taken our school district five failed levies and two election cycles to beat the forced unionism system, and we are winners! We now have our greatest challenges coming up in the November school board elections. School district voters get to decide if we choose to further our children’s first budgeting success, or re-instate the tax and spend plan of the failed 2011 school board candidates, who oppose our children first.

School Board Candidates Ron Malone/David Stuckey/
Charles Anderson, all Three, oppose our
Children First; As a school district voter,
I believe that doing what's right for our school children and community is to vote on for our TWO
CONSERVATIVE Children's First school board candidates: DAVID BITNER and KOLTON VAUGHN.

NEA union masters is based on Saul Alinsky's book
"Rules for Radicals" in which a nod is given to the success of lucifer leading a rebellion against the established order of things and setting up his own worldly kingdom in oppositon!

This false doctrine of unionism is now the established political system of our State of

ridicule and demonize independent thinking,
individual responsibility, and personal accountability!
