In February, 2006 elizabeth king-jones, unbeknown to her brother and sister took our parents to an attorney and had her father, already diagnosed with dementia, give her power of attorney and tried to have our mother do the same, but she refused and ekj had to settle for co-POA.

April 24, 2007 elizabeth King-Jones took our father to the attorney’s office to change his will. While elizabeth sit next to daddy in the office he disinherited his wife of 65 years and two of his 3 children. The new heir was elizabeth and her two children. In October 2005 daddy was diagnosed with vascular dementia. One of the typical financial abuses of the elderly is to claim family members were stealing and if they had control of the money they would stop it. This is one of the ways elizabeth did it. Mother worked outside of the home and retired from a government job and contributed far more than our father to what elizabeth was planning to take.

Take a look at this article in Huffington Post re elder abuse, with a picture of Mickey Rooney, now 90 years old, who was recently abused by a family member. Mickey went public - and if it happens to you, you should, too.

If you don't think it can happen in your family, think again.

In Oct 2008 elizabeth king-jones (E US 35 West Alexandria,OH) and her attorney Adam Kinser tried to have the court make Mother to pay for her food that she ate while in her own house. Mother’s retirement paid for Daddy’s Medicare and in the last year her insurance paid $45,000. for his insurance. Fortunately, Judge Quillen was out of county and didn’t understand the rules in Lee County.

In October 2007 after Barbara was successful in removing Mother’s car keys from Daddy, elizabeth king-jones used Daddy’s money and purchased a van in Ohio and brought it to Daddy.
Within 24 hours after elizabeth left, Daddy drove the van through the back of the garage, a sitting room, over an elevated wooden deck narrowly missing Remy the caregiver. Later we saw a Dr. report dated prior to purchasing the van telling elizabeth,“you father must not drive”.

In what would appear to punish our Mother, elizabeth King-Jones wrote an email to her attorney and his court appointed ad litem stating our father had congestive heart failure and that seeing Mother’s sister Charlsie could kill him ( Charlsie is a retired RN home health care specialist and was Mother’s only living sibling). Seven months later, elizabeth took Daddy on his walker to the back yard where we had adjoining property and the two of them threw a cube of 400 bricks into my back driveway. Witness's said Daddy fell 4 times and the next day had to be transported to the emergency room for several days stay in intensive care unit that almost killed him.

A person could conclude that she tried to kill him, especially since she took him to the attorney’s office and made elizabeth and her children his only heir, disinheriting our Mother of 65 years.

Mother’s maiden name is Vaughn with relatives in Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
As mother was dying elizabeth King-Jones was in court attempting to get a court order to have Mother pay for the food she consumed in the house she shared with Daddy. elizabeth had daddy’s POA and had him change his will to make her the sole heir. Mother contributed the most money to the household, both during her working career and retirement. Mother paid for Daddy’s supplemental insurance. elizabeth king-jones apparently wanted to squeeze more money from her dying mother.
