Like, really great you created a thread out of Human Sexuality. I will drop by more now and talk to you all.:)
Sort of a busy day here today. I am working on my garden and building new vegetable boxes. Many weeds to pull and wage war against. I am so far behind with my gardening, but, everything is shaping up quite nicely.
Good to see you Space, sweetie! Welcome back Kitty! Nice to meet you Khmer! Finally, Like, I hope your day is not too busy, thanks again for the thread so I can say hi to you all occasionally.:)
HHC,

I forgot to ask you.
Do you do organic gardening?

What vegetables do you grow?

Hi Ike! You said you are becoming bored with where you're at and spoke of travelling.

Good idea. I've done a few nationwide road trips and installed and configured networking hardware for WAMU in almost every state, and I can say it's done me lots of good. It helps develop a wide understanding of this highly diverse and beautiful country.

Also, though, easily the most enlightening thing ever was leaving the country entirely. No, not Mexico, not Canada, but across the ocean.

Taiwan is amazing, and Japan (way ahead of us technologically) is extremely cool. Then, the infamous Kampuchea (Cambodia).

I've never been to such a warm place, and I'm not talking the weather. You look up pictures or see anything about the country in the news and you see miserable, starving people. You actually go and travel the place from top to bottom, left to right and you see something much different.

Sure, many people are poor, but they are just so satisfied, so attached to each other. Oh, and starving to death is impossible!! There is food everywhere!! The only danger to my health was the constant threat of me exploding due to eating too much.

I don't want to ramble on forever,(well, yes I do...) but when I came back to the States from Kampuchea, people seemed so empty, so hurried, so detached, self centered, and ultimately unsatisfied.

Everything was just as normal as can be, but when you come back from another culture that exudes so much affection and genuine concern for your well being it kind of slaps you in the face.

I wish we weren't such a materialistic culture. It's destroying us.

Yeah, it's just a little thread, but it should be a bit of a haven for good people to drop by from time to time.

We can talk about whatever we want, report all bad people, none of whom have shown up yet.

So how is Lynn? You speak her language? My Khmer is becoming quite decent, and my wife's family is always amazed that I speak so clearly. I love it!! Also, with both of us striving to learn as much of each other's language as possible, we communicate extremely well, compared to many similar couples. Hope it's the same for you!

Hi Space1,

That was something I was trying to figure out how to do also.

I knew that if I mentioned this thread while the trolls were around, they would come here to cause trouble.

Actually, I followed Khmer_married to another thread that he was on to invite him. Since I did not see any posters that knew me on that particular thread, I thought it was safe to invite Khmer_married without trouble makers knowing about it.

I was trying to find Woohoo on a 都afe thread so that I could invite her, but I have not seen her around lately, and I don稚 want to invite her from the thread where you were having trouble with some of the posters because I don稚 want them to know about this.

Also, Space1, your thread has too many spies so I tried not to mention anything about this thread there.

Anyway, I知 very happy with those of you who are here because you all are the kind of people that I hoped would be here.

I知 going to bed now.

Tomorrow I will answer anything that has been posted to me here.

Talk to you all later.
Good night all.

Hiya Like, All!

Like I am just starting to really learn about gardening and educating myself. I want to make everything as natural as possible with no chemicals. I am a novice when it comes to doing my own veggie garden. Usually it was family members that I just came over and helped turn the earth or helped pick the crop. So, assorted reading right now about gardening and in the planning stages of exactly what I want concerning flower beds, etc.
Since I just moved into this house at the end of last year. I am just starting to get my yard in order and make my gardens. I am building up the boxes, one by one. I try to not to use chemicals on my plants. I have a compost pile started, but, it isn't quite right yet.

I am growing, of course, tomatoes of all kinds, squash, zuccini, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, lettace, green peppers, and jalopeno. Also, I am growing different herbs. So, I just hope everything works out because I got a late start. If not, next year will be really great. Since I now have the room, I am planning a secret garden towards the back of the land. It will take years to be quite perfect, but, it will be a place to go in my old age to sit and read, paint, or daydream of my youth. Sigh. Or just simply lay nude and soak up the sun.:)

This place needs alot of work, but, alot of it is just going to be elbow grease and alot of digging. The earth is really lacking many nutrients and I have to build it up. Also, I am planning beds and just taking a bit at a time. Tomorrow is going to be the first time I ever mixed concrete on my own. So wish me luck! I have seen it done tons of times, but, just not on my own. I am going to be setting a trellis with a gate that leads into the back garden. Oh, my life is so interesting. Hahahaha.

I hope that answered your question Like! I am glad you missed me~:)

Yeah, we still make mistakes too. We have so much fun with it.

As far as text messages, wow! That wouldn't have been enough for me. We hardly did any emailing or text messaging. It just doesn't compare to hearing the voice.

Nothing like a beautiful voice attached to a beautful mind to instantly relieve the day's stress. If you're as lucky you'll soon understand very exactly what I mean.

Hi Space!

Good to hear from you too Spacey! There was a time that I stayed in HS because of a few of my friends, but, it just not worth it anymore. I don't want to go on about my own problems with a few people in HS, but, it just got annoying to watch a certain person's psychotic behaviour and keep my mouth shut. Anyhoo, that forum is history to me, I check in now and then, but, nothing really catches my eye. I am glad you finally realized about the negative aspect of arguing with fools. I will go on to say, that is mostly due to your friends and Mr. Spaces interactions. That is what friend's are for, especially if you are hard headed like me, which makes it hard to walk away when being taunted. Hahahaha.

I just hope everyone gets along fine and shares about their lives, concerns, and make each other laugh! Where is Sage? We need him to tell us a good joke or two.:)

Hi Khmer!

I think that would be a fantastic idea to start a garden. Not only would that be a place that you both can nurture and watch it grow, also, with the price of veggies about to hit the roof, it is a wise investment. I also preserve my own veggies or learning. Last year I made homemade salsa, spaghetti sauce, jelly and preserves, and pickles. I froze zucchini and the peppers. It really helped out over the winter. I will preserve the peppers this year too.

I was discussing, just this evening, about prices of produce at the store and about the salmonella scare with the tomatoes now. This is not a revelation for me, since I knew about the economic disaster that was being covered up by the White House for years. Even bean farmers are struggling because they got a late start putting in their crops. So, such veggies as beans will also be inflated eventually. Unfortunately, I fear that this will only bring more starvation to many Americans in time.

Oh joy! If you do start a garden, I wish you much happiness in your garden!
