Didn't they just lose by one point? If so I'm guessing that other local team must not have the best coaches either. I understand its still a loss but big shit. Really, there is no need to bash these kids & coaches after every game. We get the point. Move on already.....

Not saying they don't need a change. Coach Johnson was the best coach ever, they will never find anyone like him. But it's all bs politics, everyone knows it. I just think who ever starts a thread after every game just needs to lay off, we all know the deal here. It's who you are, who's your daddy & how much ass you can kiss. Not how well u play ball or coach.

Perhaps he should just go home after the Natl. Anthem and the girls could win some games. Take the rest of the coaching staff with him.

You all do know that this is an annual position right? They post the vacancy on the wythe county school website every single year. Perhaps with so many who feel they could do it better, there will be a lot of applications next season. I think when you look at the amount of money coaches actually get paid, the hours that they put in, and the criticism and judgement that comes along with the job...you might just reconsider. Let us play and let the coaches coach. It's not about winning or losing or what our record was before I was even born. It's about learning to work as a team and making positive memories from high school, not about pleasing the crowds. Sure we love a good win and we work hard to get better so we can have more of them. But we also love being part of a team and having pride in our team (coaches included).
