Grand Rapids City Commission rematch most closely watched in Tuesday's contests

When voters visit the polls to elect city leaders Tuesday, one of the most closely watched results will be in Grand Rapids ' 1st Ward, where incumbent Commissioner James Jendrasiak is once again being challenged by West Side banker Dave Shaffer.

I am a little upset. I just spent over $35.00 in buying city leaf bags and some of our neighbors jus
rake their leaves into the street. How fair is this. The city is lacking funds why not fine the
people that just rake their leaves in the street.
I'm sure there are other people out there that feel the same.
