that is a good point!! Me and my fiancé were talking about it today, and I wondered how he could have just fallen.. I also wondered if he was able to swim, but then I'm a great swimmer and better in the water than on my feet, but if I were to fall into a swift cold river in January my first instinct would be to freeze up and maybe panic. I don't know him, but it breaks my heart and I absolutely can not imagine what his family is experiencing. The NOT knowing is always harder than knowing. Him and his family are in my prayers!

He was with his best friends and was not pushed... He was standing to close to the edge while using the bathroom and just lost balance. Looking over the edge of any amount of height can cause a person's equilibrium to mess up. Especcially with a fast flowing river flowing underneath. One of the friends he was with actually jumped into the river to try and help. And that friend is taking this the hardest... So for any of you to say he was pushed from the bridge is just ignorance on your part. I went to school and graduated with nick and his friend. They were closest of friends then and now. What happened was just a freak accident... That's it! I'm still praying for you Nick!

I think you're right about that, they need to make sure he didn't know something about something.A good cop these Days are a rare breed and would be a treat to any dirty cop. They should make sure there was not a jealous person that would like to be rid of him.Truth is sometime stranger than fiction. There are to many bad guys to just look over that way of thinking.Remember dalta blues?Maybe dirty cops are more spooked these Days and you know not all people have high regard for another person's life. It's a mean cruel world and getting meaner every Day for told in the bible.

Their going to be able tell what if anything was in his system sooner or later the truth will come out so no need to try to hide the truth.

My heart is heavy as I read these remarks. A young man is missing, his wife is grief stricken, his family is suffering, struggling with loss, his friends are saddened by his absence and YOU wonder about the young men who were there and many other questions. How would you feel if you were in these shoes? Would you want such things being said/thought? Don't think so! We need to remember that "things are hidden to mans eyes, but God sees/knows it all". Our society fails to think of others, pray for others and usually think these things only happen to other families! Be careful no one is exempt..and the things we point out in others lives can visit our lives and we get a whole new understanding. My prayers for this family and for those throwing those proverbial stones!

the bible says in the last days mens hearts would wax cold so blame it on the times.bad things happening to people time after time is what makes a heart cold.we all have known loss and sadness and shock its hard on us all.sometime God allows the flesh to be destoryed to save the soul and thats what the good book says.

This is so sad to judge A Great young man who is missing! If anything ya'll need to pray for him & his wife & family. People in Wynne are so stuck on what happen, was he drinking, who he was with!!! That doesn't matter at this point in time. Even if he was drinking. Hell his human just as well as we are. Its not a big deal to have a drink or two to have fun with friends. He have a life just as well as we do. Our main concern should be finding Nick! Love you my guy!

Like maybe J. Bond? I wouldn't put it past him to plan something like this.

The truth ALWAYS makes way to a lie and light ALWAYS finds way to darkness. Sooner or later the whole truth will make way to light be it tomorrow or 10 years from now. The longer Nick's friends continue to be dishonest the longer demons will eat at their soul! We can only pray that one of the other 5 people there will crack and find way to light. The loss of a friend is a heavy burden to carry but the loss of a friend and the burden of carrying that lie around is more than most could handle. The truth can set you free. Yes it may cause more pain at first but for everyone involved it's worth the truth. Your lies can be the pieces lacking to lead the searchers to Nicks remains. Nick deserves a proper burial and his family deserves that closure. Someone knows the truth and no matter how painful it needs to be told! Any decent person couldn't sleep at night!

Drinking is something every single human does even GOD.Who cares if he was drinking, sure you have comitted far worse crimes and just gotten away with them. The boy was young and could have fun too?? This proves we dont have much time here and we might as try to have fun. Yall amaze me..thats someones little boy..someones heart and soul..pride and joy. Somebodys grandbaby. Someones husband..you should be ashamed of yourselves. I cannot wait until u meet your maker and hear what he has to say to you. Hiding behind false names because any normal person wouldnt say such things. This was the best cop we had..too bad you cant put your names out here. Cold hearted punks.. too bad they didnt make more people like nick and class of 2007..they had Class. Heart. Soul. And most of all manners and generosity. Go to church ppl and pray really hard. Maybe next time u can day some positive things. Or is that just too dang hard? And to bash the only person who tried to help.. come on ppl get a life and stay off here because if your soul ever got brave enough to put your name on here...well...lets stop there.
peace be still

I would like to know where the previous posts have gone? Who runs this website? Who were the girls that were there? Why are these two boys and two girls NOT at the bridge anxiously waiting for their friend who is missing? I believe a call to the FBI is warranted.
