a good job. At what trying to take over
the school and ran it the way he like.
Far as I can tell he has did know more
than Dr. Perry. So why did the school board
fire Dr.Perry to give the job to Carl Easley.

Let she how Mr. Easley handle the assualt
that occur at the school. I saw him on
the news trying to cover up what went on
at the school but like everything else
that goes on in Wynne they always cover
it up when the person doing the wrong is
white.

Let's look at the facts. An incident was reported and the administration has started investigating this incident. It made the television news and rumors and speculation ran rapant. Let's not further tarnish our schools or community with speculation. Wait and see how the matter is handled and if you don't think it has been properly addressed, then take the matter to the school board. It sounds to me like they are treating the matter with due weight and there will be punishment for any wrongs that may have been done. Name calling, more rumors and speculation by people without a clue doesn't do anything but make those people look stupid. Let the facts come out and the school faculty deal with it before you jump to conclusions.

The majority of the comments on here are nothing more than speculation. Gossip has blown the incident way out of proportion. Yes, some boys made an ignorant decision in their horseplay. Yes, there should be repercussions. Yet, it is foolish to expect an immediate punishment. Administration had to consider all aspects, gather all information, and then proceed. Rashness is not the answer. ...the matter was thoroughly investigated and weighed. Punishments were made. The public needs to calm down and learn facts before jumping to conclusions. The kids do not need adults brewing racial problems for them. ..and as someone who observes kids daily, the majority of today's racial problems come from the adult world. The students (yes, there is always an exception here and there) have WAY more problems with each other based on competitions and boy/grlfriend drama than they do over race. While I don't condone the poor decision making of the boys involved, this was not a hate crime. It was a crime of ignorant horseplaying among a group of adolescents lacking the foresight to consider the severity and consequences of the act. Prayers for anyone sincerely offended. Prayers for the student body--that they may not let this divide them. ...and shame on anyone who uses the incident for attention or to feed an old chip on an old shoulder that should have been taken care of years ago..as in during the 1960s.

Your response is well considered and we should all take it under advisement. Those who would play upon this incident have a hidden agenda that they would want to play out before everything is known. You are a credit to our community. Thank you.

You should probably get your facts straight before you start posting things on here. Multiple people were recommended to fill the interim spot, however the board chose Mr. Easley. Then, Easley went through the interview process, as did many others and was hired at the first of this year with a contract.

Ahem. It's "grammar." Please feel free to not post "more stupid stuff," like yours. Time for your English/Spelling class.

Dr. Perry was not rehired because he didn't do his job. It had nothing to do with this skin color and everything to do with the performance of his duties. Carl Easly served as Interim Superintendent. He interviewed for the job when they reopened the position and was selected for the full-time position I personally think he is doing a good job. Sometimes these things are that simple and people feel the need to try t make the out to be something else. It's time to move on.

Carl Easley is very capable and objective. I dont always agree with his decisions, and I've had to deal with him several times. He can come across as a jerk from time to time, but he is a very fair man. He should have been hired as the superintendent, after Mr. Smith retired. He knows this district well and will work with school board effectively, especially since some of the liberal trash has been removed from it. And he is much easier to talk to than Duh duh duh Dr. Peerryy!
