There are some inexpensive homes on the west end of town near the E.U. Deshay park. They can get involved in selling drugs, sagging their pants, and driving around playing loud music. Welcome to Wynne.

this town is a cesspool...full of dope whores, hustlers, wanna-be gangsta crooked cops who let murderers run free and just generally rude people who could care less if u live or die. Not to say there aint good people here full of southern hospitality, theres quite a few of us too. Just fair warning, if u do move here, be prepared.

As you can tell, there are a lot whiners in this town who blame everyone else for their incompetence. Avoid them and you'll find Wynne a welcoming, inclusive town to live in.

Statistics in Arkansas Delta towns, including Wynne, indicate the contrary. The brightest and most intelligent people in Wynne tend to get the hell out at soon as they graduate from high school. Wynne is left with the "left-overs" that were not good enough to go off to college to get educated and better their lives. You may have a few that stick around and ruin their opportunities due to not wanting to leave their families, but on the most part, Wynne has a serious case of brain-drain, and the only way to reverse it is to bring in high-tech, high-skilled jobs to town, but as long as the town consists mainly of dumb people, those jobs will not locate there. Wynne will never get anything more than a few factory jobs that even a retard could do.

What good paying jobs do you all expect to come to Wynne? Wynne is an area of the state that is basically flat and well-suited for farming since it has good fertile soil. What good paying jobs have there ever been? Back in the day, people could make a decent living because there were factories and everything didn't cost a fortune, so your money could go farther. Industry started leaving the country in the 70's. This is no longer the industrial era. There can only be so many doctors, lawyers, dentists, educators, nurses, accountants, insurance businesses, and gas stations in such a small town. You have to be inventive and creative if you want better paying jobs. Are you going to do research here? Do you expect Wynne to become a Silicon Valley? If 50 stores and restaurants opened up tomorrow in Wynne, they'd still pay as close to minimum wage as possible with few benefits. People, the Wynne area is farming country. You have what it takes to make your life better. You just have to do it. Edison, Rockefeller, and Carnegie had ideas. They observed and thought. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg had ideas. Plasma is a state of matter far more abundant in the universe than solids, liquids, and gases. You have the freedom to figure out how to convert it into usable energy and maybe you can do it in Wynne. I'm sure you'll create a lot of good paying jobs if only you'd set your lab up in Wynne.

There's a small piece of paper that's a tad bit bigger than a square foot. If you people would go out and obtain that little piece of paper, you wouldn't be so jealous of those who have. It can improve your life tremendously.

So true. I left Wynne as soon as I graduated from WHS, and I've earned my bachelor's and master's degrees since then and although things haven't always gone as planned, I have been pretty successful over the last few years. My degrees would be worthless in Wynne because people there do not value education. Wynne people actually belittle those that get educated. What's the point of having an education if you are in a town where you would never use it.
