lets try this again. To the state trooper who pulled me over friday night. You said i was following you too close. Well here's the thing: we were both in the left lane. I had a left turn to make and we were both going 40. So my choice was to stay behind you til i got to my turnoff, or switch lanes, speed up, and get in front of you, in which case you would have pulled me over anyway. I honestly didn't think i was that close to you. Seems to me like you slowed down just a bit to try n force me to pass you, and when i didnt, YOU changed lanes, slowed down, and got behind me just so you could pull me over. Thats pretty screwed up, it makes me think you marked me the minute i pulled out of pizza hut, and you were gonna do whatever it took to pull me over. Is that why you decided not to give me a ticket for it? Just wondering. Also somebody tell me how it is that some cops are so hypocritical as to give people tickets for traffic laws that they themselves break on a regular basis. I'll go ahead and get the obvious answer of 'because they can' out of the way here. Look here buddy carrying a badge don't make you better than me, it just makes you a bigger dick. Now i'm not talking about all cops here, cause there are some good ones, just the ones who abuse their authority.

Oh yeah, the seat belt law. Who else thinks its total bs? If I don't want to wear it, then what gives you the right to make me? Its MY LIFE I'm risking, not yours. Besides theres always the chance (a small one, granted, but most definitely there) of being trapped in a burning car because of a malfunctioning seat belt. Almost seems like a human rights violation if you think about it.

Hey, the laws are on the books for a reason, if you break them be prepared to suffer the penalty. Be sure you buckle up and don't follow to close when you go to pay your ticket. Do you think your above the law, NOT

never said i was above the law. Nobody is, and that includes cops, yet i see em all the time runnin red lights n speedin around n such without blue lights on. Following too close? I see that a hundred times a day, i see cops do it too. Actually cops are the worst ones. Of course if people around here would actually drive the speed limit instead of creepin along like turtles, that wouldn't happen so much. Chickensh*t? No. I was on a delivery, doing my job, and i was focused on that rather than trying to argue with him. Besides, like i said, he was cool enough to not give me that ticket, just one for no seat belt. Now, i'd like to ask anyone who voted yes to the seat belt law to explain why. Why you felt the need to take away MY choice when it has absolutely nothing to do with you. Let's hear it.

No, the part about 'arguing' is a little much. I'm just trying to explain things from my point of view. Everybody sees the world from their own unique perspective, this is mine, and i have just as much right as anyone else to voice/type it. At least i'm using topix for something productive, instead of getting on here talking sh*t like a lot of people on here do.

i think the main reason police are concerned about seat belts is because police (and other emergency personnel) are the ones responsible for scraping you off the road and telling your family you are dead when you get in an accident not wearing one.

So you're saying thats cops and emt's are only wanting to save themselves from more work. While that might be true, cops and emt's aren't the only ones who vote. Sorry try again

You know I hate to burst your bubble, but like isn't fair[oh boo hoo]you need not worry about what others do[run red lights, follow to close etc etc]that won't get you a ticket, your only accountable for your actions. So grow up, suck it up and last but not least, shut up. No one wants to hear your whinny a** anyway. Grow a pair and buck up.

Grow a pair? Friend you need to grow a brain. The only thing you said that made sense was that life ain't fair, and even then you misspelled life. Of course life ain't fair. And its because of apathetic idiots like you that life continues to be unfair. If the world was left in the hands of people like you, America would never have existed. Its people like me, who do have the balls to speak out against injustice, that made this country. You're the one thats needs to grow a pair not me. I got a pair, and i know how to use em. Idiots like you are the reason this country's heading for a fall.

wE DID NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE ON THE SEAT BELT LAW. The representatives in Little Rock must do something to justify their salary. Why don't motorcycle riders have to wear helments. Most police are dicks. If you try to make a point with them, they get offensive and threaten to take you to jail. Most Wynne police can't get a joby anywhere else. Most have tried to get a job at the prison to increase their income, but the BPO don't want them either.

Im glad you found your voice. Get ready to voice yourself a whole lot more, because I have let all my friends with badges know who you are and what you drive.

Really? Are you really that guy? Then please, tell me your name cause i couldn't read your sloppy ass signature. And if you really are him, does that mean you're f*cking threatening me? Just cause i'm exercising my right to free motherf*cking speech? Oh heeeeellll naw. You asked me why i was apparently following you so close. I got on here and answered cause a: i was too pissed off the other night and b: in a hurry to do my damn job. Go back n read it again i said u were cool for not giving me that ticket. But now you wanna make it personal? Allright bet. We'll see what happens you low life piece of sh*t.
