The show was pretty scary to me!! They said the people there now haven't experienced anything but they keep that part of the house blocked off?? The lady above says she lives there now and hasn't experienced anything.. After that show I would be scared to live there

This paranormal group Casper did contact us when we moved in we would not let them come investigate because we haven't seen anything didn't want that kind of stigma. That doesn't mean what they went thrum wasn't true I'm just saying we haven't had a problem

Did u know the rumors of it supposed to be haunted before you moved in?? Your right maybe the ghost/demon followed them. Hope the show doesn't cause a bunch of crazies at your house or people driving by and looking all the time. Best of luck Debbie

I bought a foreclosure that had been in the same family since the 1700's and two years later discovered it had a lengthy history of hauntings confirmed by a former resident and her extended, elderly family. Personally, I've experienced nothing odd or off at all, and believe the spirits are simply happy with me and my family being here. I surely won't provoke them... We can live in peace!

LOL I'm in Beaufort, NC, not Goldsboro :/
This morning my teenage sons were watching last night's DVR'ed episode of "A Haunting." Normally I dismiss that show because it's always so drug out I assume the content is stretched truth as well. For some odd reason, this episode sucked me in and I believe those people. So much so, I Googled the family name and 'haunted Arkansas,' which led me here. Reading gossip about the family on this site was almost as entertaining as the episode itself! Multiple marriages, affairs, kids out of control, financial woes - Sounds like many typical American families these days, from the dirt poor to Congressmen in DC. Judging solely by what I saw in the episode, which, I have a pretty decent BS/con/freak radar - Those people were telling the truth. And again, I live in a home that is previously labeled without any personal observation of such, and has many "red flags" to the paranormal people. It's a 1780 Colonial, waterfront, and a long line of crazy mess that is so far fetched I had to see newspaper clippings to believe!

I also saw the show last night about the Vanlandingham family in the Wynne, Arkansas house. I have friends in Wynne, Arkansas; and they never have mentioned this. I always thought Wynne, Arkansas was a very small, quiet town. I may need to check it out more. Wynne may be more interesting than I originally thought.

I run a research team, and run into this alot folks. New residents not experience anything but the previous ones have all kinds of claims.
Makes one wonder about the original claims, or the research team that was there.
Debbie Ross, kudos to you not hyping it anymore.
I had a suspision this was going to air, in the rumor mill of production shows (they all contact me) this home came up. I've heard the claims, and know OF those that came and investigated.
People you got to remember.......it's TV and all abou they hype. They will change facts, add stuff to make it appeal to their audience.

You nailed it, thats the motive. You can view their site, and see contridictions in shows using the same so called evidence. We use them in our lectures on WHAT NOT TO DO. and its public record, copyrighten by the shows....... but she tries to copyright previously done work. And has even taken our work to show as her own.
What goes around comes around LOL.
Your neighbor...... I know well. and if you ever want the stigma removed... as I can debunk the show very well publically. You just let us know.(you know who to contact lol)
Hope you guys have a Great Thanksgiving!
