nothing there...no jobs or anything...you have to go to memphis or jonesboro to do anything. Also there are too many nosey azz people that live there. you can't do anything in that town without someone knowing your business or pretending to know your business. I lived there for years and so glad I moved away.

I lived in Wynne for 18 years. I loved the town. They have a really good school district. The only reason people say there are nosey people there are because they are "doing something that they shouldn't" YOu could call Garner Rentals is you are just wanting to rent. They have a ton of homes.

Whatever!!! You must be one of those nosey people - that doesn't have a life of your own!?!? And I loved it growing up there but now it is a rundown little town with nothing going for it. Garner Rentals have been in business there a long time. Some of his places are nasty and some are okay.

No, Actually, I am a business woman now that still has family there for your information. And it's not a "rundown little town". Its a nice town with very little crime and with a great educational department. Sure there's not a beer joint on every little corner or a strip club down the street, or a huge shopping mall but It's a family town. Not everybody there is bad. You got nosey people everywhere you live.

Wynne has plenty of house for rent call Garner's Rentals, Holmes Realty, Kern Mcguire, Albert Hess, or think it's another guy that has his houses. Nice place to live. As far as nosey people they are everywhere. Don't talk your business and they want know...........

If Wynne is so great then why are you not living there? Rundown town to me - they don't take care of their older historical buildings and it's just a nasty looking town.

Wynne is a wonderful town. You don't have to worry about getting shot or mugged! Great safe schools. Everyone is friendly. That's why we are known as "The City with a Smile"

Please I know someone that was shot and killed there just because she answered the door. So get your stories straight. Almost the whole town is hooked on meth or screwing someone else's spouse.

That is SO not true and very offensive. I am a school teacher, married 4.5 years, and love it in Wynne. I grew up in NLR, and am now trying to get my parents to move to Wynne. It may not be for everyone, but let people make their own decisions, okay?!

That is true lady?!?!- She was a year younger than myself and it happened about 13/14 years ago. Do your history on Wynne before you start saying something isn't true!!!

Sorry to say this is true. The murderer was found & sent to prison 13/14 years ago. He is still there. However, when you can count the # of murders in 20 years on your hand I would consider that a safe town.

I graduated with the lady that was shot. Her murderer is sitting on death row. That was May 1996. He and the other guy both were denied parole last month. I know the whole story. She has a beautiful daughter now that still lives here, Bad things happen sometimes. But overall, Wynne is a great place to raise your kids. And I agree with Wynne Girl, Over 20 years and its very small amount of Homicides.
