Do you see names when donations are made or just an amount?

It goes through paypal. I know it doesn't show how you paid but as to the name, I am not for sure.

We're pretty sure the family will only see the amounts and only PayPal will know names ... Will confirm this, however, ASAP.

Whoever created this did a great job! I really hope everyone donates to help the family. We miss Alan. We had no idea 2 weeks ago when Alan was hanging out with our family that it would be the last time. We pray God wraps his arms around the family and comforts them.

I agree!! So thankful for those who put it together :) Also, it's only the tip of the iceberg of who he really was. He gave so much to everyone he knew :)

My inbox is acting up again but thank you for your kind words <3. I will say one ray of light in all this is that people from all over and all walks have been brought together.

Well thank you!!!!:-) A friend of mine is a social media manager and I typed everything up that we wanted along with pictures and he just put it all together.... It makes it sound so easy but it is a lot of work and usually costs thousands and thousands of dollars.... But he knew how much it meant to me and did it.... You can inbox me and I can give you his name. There are almost 100 pictures up on the fb page... That doesn't even come close to the OVER 3000 pictures of Alan, his fiance, daughter, ALL their friends, and family....... It goes to show THE MAN HE WAS At the time of this brutal tragedy......

I only do what I would want others to do on my behalf. I appreciate you being open minded and honest with me also. It is a nice change of scenery to meet people who act like adults on this forum and you and a few others have done so even when being "baited" by those that are looking to be cyber thugs.

Ya'll done an amazing job! I hope some of the media people that have covered Alan's story take the time to look at his life as those sites have shown it and not just his death. Alan's FULL story needs to be told, he should be remembered for the PERSON he was not just the tragic way his life ended.

I agree, and once arrests are made and the police can release details, his full story will be told. So many already trying to do that!

A wise woman once told me that if I spend more time & energy up front being open, honest & factual, then there will less room to be offended by others and I won't spend precious time "defending" myself when people make accusations.:)

That's not to say I have this practice down pat and don't ever get riled up when the person accusing isn't "worth it" (I am an imperfect human being after all) BUT I certainly sleep better now than I did as a gossipy teenaged girl for sure!!:)
