I saw today that Wynne is getting another Chinese restraunt. Someone else told me that we are also getting another pizza place because pizza pizazz is going out of business! What is going on here? Why do we keep gettig the same types of restraunts?Cant we branch out a little?

If you dont like the choices offered, why dont you open something and branch out a little. Stop whining about what we dont have in Wynne, if you like their food eat it, if you dont like it just dont go there.

A lot of the restaurants like O'Charley's, Red Lobster or any other large name will not come here because they can't get a liquor license from the City to serve alcohol inside the city limits. In jonesboro they were able to get a private club license which allows them to serve alcohol in a "DRY" county but Wynne is in a "WET" county and will not grant any restaurant in the city limits a liquor license. JB's Steakhouse has a liquor license because they are technically inside the city limits. The bars in town have liquor licenses but the council will not grant a liquor license for a restaurant where the most anyone would drink would be two beers or two glasses of wine or 2 mixed drinks WITH A MEAL. Not like at a bar where they are likely to drink a six pack or more WITHOUT FOOD ( peanuts or pretzels don't count as Food). Just saying.

Meant to say JB's is technically outside the city limits.

These are some of the people that drive to Memphis and eat and drink and drive home drunk !!!! I guess they think if they do it out of town nobody will know.

Is the Downtowner coming back to Wynne's old downtown? I don't think it has been there in 40 years! Guess everyone needs a leave of absence at some point.

In all seriousness, I would like to see some 'family' type restaurants open, Mom and pop places. Of course I would imagine it is hard to compete with the chains. But who knows.

Think I'm going to sit down and eat a burger or two.

I just think it would be nice to have a few more options as far as types of food. I realize that with us being such a small down that are choices are limited but instead of opening Mexican and pizza places right after. Mexican or pizza place closed why not try something new. Arbys or burger king would be nice, I realize that they are fast foods but at least it would be something different. I know we won't get anything large like a chilis or olive garden but just something different would be nice!

Wynne will not let a mom and pop restaurant open. They are to busy running their mouths about hte owners and spreading lies about them. Until Wynne's community can stop being so jealous of people trying to make an honest living, the community will NEVER get a good restaurant. If you are not from Wynne, then you are considered an outsider and they hate you. I have seen a few great restaurants come and go due to the NON-supportive community with a smile.. (LMMFAO- what a joke). Maybe if some of the residents would take their heads out of their ass and stop trying to be something that their not, then more people would take a chance and open different restaurants. Be prepared to have the food for the rest of your life in a shit hole of a town and thank the great community that you live in. Lady Luck- Lady with a Smile

Pizza Piezazz is not going out of business. They serve the BEST pizza in town. The new Paradise Pizza has the worst pizza I have ever had.. We need a new Chinese restaurant. Also a meat and three
