If nothing is being done it's because your not talking to the right person. Wynne has the bullying laws and they do enforce them. If your talking to the assistant principal your wasting your time. Go to Carl Easley or Mrs. Lee ask for a meeting. They will get to the bottom of it and put a stop to it. No kid should be scared to go to school.

The other replies are on target ... try to determine that what you believe to be true actually is true, or at least true enough, and then ask to meet with someone in Admin who can and will respond ... jot down a short list of coherent thoughts, concerns, etc BEFORE you meet with someone ... be specific without being angry or offensive ... make sure your concerns are understood. Ask if a second meeting will be necessary or desirable.

Don't worry about; just do it.

And yawl actually think that's the answer to your problems? It's like saying 'just say no to drugs'. Can you not see what's before your very eyes? As long as there is the level of moral decay in this country, you aren't about to stop bullies. And another thing, grown folks are teaching the victims to be targets. You're calling the slightest negative action a bully action. Thank you, Jesus, that grown folks back in the day did not do that to us. You're raising a bunch of sissies and you'll expect them to one day defend this country. No one can say anything that might hurt another's little timid feelings without the other being a bully. Good grief! Then they'll explode one day or grow up and retaliate because all they could do while they were growing up was cry and tattle. I had one problem in school and I handled it myself and believe you me I never had another problem. I stood my ground. OK, Misfit NAPPY, jez cool it and let this country continue on it's path to self-destruction. The more you folks talk 'bully' the more killings there are. You're frightening them to death. You see what your 'just say no to drugs' has done. It makes them even more curious. You grown folks constantly talk 'bully' and now everyone wants a gun. It's adults who have turned the country into a nation of bullies. Everybody is afraid of everyone else, such that now you folks want teachers carrying guns. YOU have caused this, Y-O-U. Grown folks. Kids are afraid to say anything to defend themselves for fear of getting in trouble themselves. They'll get tired of it one day and completely blow a fuse. Then you'll say they are mentally ill, when actually, you will have made them that way. You force drugs down their throats when they are little. You won't allow them to defend themselves in any way. Then, when they get brutally aggressive when they're older, you say they're crazy, oh, but in an oh so cute way. Grown folks have turned this nation into what it is, not children. NAPPY, shut up and take your old self to sleep. Have you ever seen the likes of so many kids needing to see counselors. When I was in school, we didn't know what a counselor was, and we weren't killing each other and our parents. Somebody is doing something all wrong nowadays, it seems.

One of my sons had a problem with a bully in Junior High and my wife and I went and talked to Mr. Marsh about it. His actions were exemplary and he continued to make sure that this was no longer a problem. If you are not having success inn curbing bullying, respectfully move it to a higher ranking administrator. Remember, how you act in reporting it effects the credibility of your complaint. If you come in acting like an ass, they may concerns about your credibility. Our school staff take this very seriously when they believe there is a legitimate of bullying.

The problem is you people not parenting, not the children. One can say, aw he is so bad. Well, WHY is he bad? He wasn't bad in the omb. He wasn't bad as a baby. As he grew, watched and listened to adults, then he became bad. He mimicked the behaviors and actions of adults he's seen and heard throughout this entire nation. The children watch YOU lie, cheat, steal, badmouth, covet, get angry, argue, fight, war, disrespect others, be a distraction, be unconcerned about your neighbors, do anything to get what you want even if you cannot afford it,go to the schools and act a fool, blame others, be their friend rather than the parents, and on and on. Yes, they've watched YOU for many years. They are little apples that have fallen from the parent tree. Red Delicious apple trees produce more Red Delicious apples, not bananas, not oranges, not grapes.

Going to a school to stop one bully from bullying one child is nowhere near the answer. You're going to have to look inside and see what you are allowing the nation to become. Until you get to the root of the weed and get rid of it, the problem will persist. Just keep cutting the top off of it will only strengthen the roots thus causing it to survive for many years to come. It will return each and every year with a vengenance healthier than ever, ready to cause more headaches. You must get to the root of the problem and dig it completely out and destory it before it takes over the entire yard/nation. As that weed grows and reproduces, it will only produce more of its own kind and I mean many many more of its kind. Yawl don't get it, do you?

So does this mean the apples that fell off your tree sit around all day on topix going into long-winded and needlessly wordy post about everything they think they are an authority on? I'll grant some kids are bulllies because of their enviornment but that just isn't always the case. Some kids seem to become infatuated with power and having power over smaller or less dominant kids that doesn't come from home. In short, there are a variety of reasons kid bully besides parental influence.

No, I doubt it. That's left to their parent tree. Hehe. It's FUNny that you people read every word of NAPPY's posts, then you get all mad. Too bad.

Ahh, the first of the month time has rolled around yet again, and yet again, another check. Thank yawl kindly. Now go parent your children in a good way if you dare take the time. Old NAPPY ain't got not even one baby to raise. Ain't gatta buy any kids' clothes, school supplies, get hair done, worry about where they are and what they're doing. Nope, not one. Now run along and try to do a better job at raising yawlz kids. Remember, it takes a village they say. Now one of yawl old folkz wanted a whole bus load of youngz and when he couldn't get them, he shot and killed the bus driver and kidnapped one of'em. Yuh see, it's you old folkz. You adults just like I said. Ain't no needa gittin all mad at old NAPPY jez cuz I tell yawl the truth. What's young with children is 'grown folks'. You allow presidential candidates to get on national TV and act like rav'n maniacs. You allow all of the violence on TV, the movies and games. And yes, you allow your kids to watch it all. Yep, it's grown folks.

Yeah right. Parents 'ALLOW' them to do what they do. Parents allow them to watch and to listen to all the filth. It's all parental influence, dear. And they are YOUR youngnz. Enjoy.

Life was slower and a lot more enjoyable before personal computers and the internet took form and then took off about 17 years ago; well, the internet didn't really gain a dynamic form until the mid to late 90s, but since then life and society in the USA have gone downhill rapidly. The more tech we see impacting our lives, the worse it gets, and this because people absolutely stop thinking beyond surface levels. This will continue, of course, because at this point we are talking Business and Corporate, so there is no stopping the changes that will take root. One big change will not be from the Tech World, of course, and that is the shift from male to female dominance in the USA ... in all ways. The majority of young males have knowingly opted out of education of all kinds, and they've done so for reasons that even they couldn't articulate in ways that would make sense, while young women are the statistical majority at universities, tech and trade schools, and they have been so for a good number of years. WOMEN are going to dominate, define and impact USA society like never before, and not many of them are going to be interested in knowing, in any way you wish to define "knowing," the huge number of uneducated, untrained and unskilled male USA citizens who will be doing nothing of value to anyone. The situation is so dire that the USA must indeed continue to import international graduate students and skilled workers ... and in turn offer them citizenship. As bad as this reality is today, relying or betting on a turnaround among younger male citizens would be a major mistake, as this is simply not on the horizon.

Tater Tots, I partially agree. I don't know that women are going to dominate due to the rising immigrant population. However, women will become more powerful. But what has caused men to become so indolent and unconcerned? I know the majority of black men are that way, but what caused white men to become that way? Many of them, too, want to rely on females to support them. So many of them are uneducated now. Well, I suppose America can count on at least 5 or 6 students from each classroom to get a higher education and become inventors and creators rather than relying on someone else to give them a job. This generation hasn't much from which to choose for a spouse.
