Or if you are a trouble maker and you have been banned from all the business in Wynne, you might expect your kid to have difficulties in the Wynne schools. Wynne is a great place for kids to go to school and get a great education.

Oh my, I've seen this on so many teacher forums. Do you reck'n they'll ever get it? Do you suppose it makes them feel better to go to the schools and act foolish but never give thought that their children will still be there after they leave? Some years ago, I talked to an aquaintance from California about a situation involving her child, whom she thought could do no wrong. I told her to be careful going to the school attempting to cause trouble because her child would still be there after she left and that her child's grades were in the hands of the teacher. Uh-ruh, that's what I've read on the internet and heard on TV, mind'ya.

Most of the parents aren't involved in their kids life.Trust me when they go to school and act like a fool their kid will suffer. It not right to take it out on the kid but they do.

Oh yes, because we all know that teenagers are never a problem...... Put 800 of them together and all of them will be innocent angels.
"Most" teachers are comon sence adults and yet parents never believe their kids could do anything wrong, even when presented with the facts.(Like video)
Teachers spend many years and loads of money to be teachers (not babysitters or cops). It's a shame some kids come just to be a problem.
Most kids are GOOD kids, let me say that again. Most kids are GOOD kids, the problems come from the few "rotten apples", and usually they have the parents that enable them to stay "rotten".

In the "old days", parents backed the teachers. My how times have changed.

From what I've read on the internet and heard on TV, I don't think most teachers take anything out on the kids. Kids don't always tell the truth when they're being interrogated each evening by their parents about the school day's events. They tend to embellish or to leave things out. Then the parents may become irate and head for the school cuz they jez have to 'get that teacher told'. They feel they must give that teacher a piece of their mind. Lord, help us. At that point, they are consumed by the monster, and they're giving no sensible thought to their child's rest-of-the-year future with that teacher. I've heard they're called helicopter parents. I don't think it's that a teacher takes anything out on the kid; it's simply, from what I've heard, of course, that teachers do a lot of little extra things for students that are not required of him or her, and possibly s/he may discontinue that little extra for said kid just to discourage any misunderstandings or misinterpretations at the kid's home. One huge extra is spending his or her own money on the kid. Another little extra may be bumping a kid up from 79.4/C to an 80/B, which could be the difference in making the A/B honor roll or no honor roll. But that PARENT's MOUTH may be a deterrent and cause one to give that kid what s/he actually deserved. I read and hear a lot of stuff, don't I? Ahhh, the internet and all of these teacher forums. They are rather enligthening.

Will you please elaborate? How are the other schools way better? How is Wynne behind? Is the curriculum too easy? In your opinion, what can Wynne schools do to improve? And be honest. If there are ways the schools can improve, they need to know.

Let's see ... not overly concerned about the appalling ignorance that defines most posts to Topix, though it should be stated that a large percentage of them can't even be understood, but you ARE concerned that "black nappy" continues to post thoughts to Topix??? This is what bothers you? Take a few moments to read a variety of the posts that typically can be seen on Topix, and you might want to take a look at the CCSO inmate population. A quick perusal of these two sites should make it clear that "black nappy" is not what you or anyone should be complaining about
