Pray for my Dad

My dad lives in Wylie. He has been fighting Cancer for 3 years, but this round is going to take his life. His name is Roger Harper, he has been with my mother for 20 years, married for 15. He is the only DAD I've ever had.[my dad left me and my brother when I was 5, I am now 38]

They live off of FM1378 in Wylie. I live in WV. I feel so bad not being able to be with them during this time that they REALLY need me, so I turned to this site to at least ask for prayers. I feel so helpless, I had to do something.

He served in Nam in the late 60's early 70's, and the cancers he has had are the result from a pesticide called "Agent Orange" used in Nam during that time. He was an engineer that worked on the ground while this KILLER dust was spread from above.

My mother is totally distraught, trying to take care of him the best she can. She has also had her battle with Cancer and thankfully won the fight 2 years ago. She had to lose a breast but got her life back.

Please pray for them both, cause we desperatly NEED a MIRACLE!!! Thank you and God Bless

[Heart Broken in WV]

My dad passed today at 4:13p
I know he's in a better place and not suffering anymore, but now I worry about my Mom. She knew that it was coming and that he would not suffer anymore, but she's lost without him. I worry abiut her emotional state more than anything, and I don't want history to repeat itself. In 1983 my Grandma passed, my Grandpa grieved tremendously, he passed 2 months later.
Now I ask that you please pray for my Mom. May she find the strength and courage to carry on in this difficult time.

Rest In Peace, Roger Dale Harper, you will always be loved and missed, but NEVER forgotten!!!

Dearest Denise,

I just wanted to say how truly sorry I am for the loss of your beloved father. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him, however, your love for him speaks volumes of what a special man he was. Know that your precious Mother, you and your entire family are in my heart and prayers.
