I'm good, I'm happy to say, although caught in a huge open field this morning, with thunderbolts all around me, I had my doubts for awhile. I thank God for not allowing me to arrive at my final destination as a result, but I'm sure that there are those who would say, if I had been struck, the world would be a better place.!

Without power, people in these communities who have telephone service with Cablevision, won't be connected. Better get Verizon!

WOW I just switched to Verizon triple play. It BLOWS cable out of the water. Picture is CRISPY CLEAR and I'm getting stations I never knew existed. The way cable was dropping channels and raising rates they can kiss my BUTT.

We were wondering the same about your place. Surely a roll off dumpster doesn't need electric service, does it?

Has anyone noticed that the link to this story on the homepage reads "Storm knocks power to hundreds, About 2,000 customers affected across LI". Now correct me if I am wrong. If 2,ooo people lost power wouldn't that be thousands and not hundreds? Not only did those buffons shrink the size of the newspaper, they must shrunk the size of the brains that run this site. What a bunch of morons!!!
