A Long Island Rail Road train, scheduled to reach Ronkonkoma at 4:14 a.m., had only made it to Wyandanch by 6:45 a.m. due to drifting snow, frozen switches and equipment failure.

That bumblephuk of a rail road can't even make it on a clear day, who the hell'd ride it in a blizzard?!(I'll never forget the time it took four hours to get from Jamaica [after there was a small fire at Penn] to Hicksville, and then we had to take a cab the rest of the way to Ronk, for $90 freakin' bucks! While everyone else was still stuck when we got home, and the LIRR didn't even make any announcements...just left everyone standing there!)
