More than 800 homes and businesses still remain uninhabitable in the Sayre/Athens area, and there are still 70 bridges in the county that remain closed as a result of the flooding this past week, the Bradford County Commissioners stated Saturday in a press release.

But not to worry. The stupid feds and state will pay to rebuild in the flood-prone areas. And it will all happen again within our lifetime. What folly. If you rebuild in a floodplain, it should be with your own money at your own risk. Keep your wet hands out of my pockets.
