She is 91 years old and obviously has some problems. Is prosecution really necessary?

What I want to know is how at 90 years old she was able to dig up the remains of her sister! Something is fishy about that. My guess is a payola was made to the cemetary's director or groundskeeper.

God what a weirdo! How dare someone choose to do something on her own property that I don't approve of or understand?

That is discusting someone to walk into a house or garage and see a dead body decomposing. Now since she is 91 years old what do they plan to do sue her for all she has or throw her in jail for life. This lady may only have months to live. They should take the bodys and bury them where they belong right away.

Yes. If they don't then everyone will dig someone up. I'm sure it would happen again.

Read the article. The bodies are embalmed.

I think she's losing her mental faculties. It's sad when the elderly get like that. I hope they don't force her into a nursing home. It's scary to think someone like this lives by herself. She probably needs in-home care or assisted living.

They married brothers according to the PA newspapers.

Most people don't know that embalmbing is just for funeral viewing. Embalming is only good for a week. It's another way funeral homes rip people off. When my time comes, good ole refrigeration will be used if there will be a viewing-type funeral. Otherwise, let my body decompose. I don't think I'll care.

actually dead bodies can be preserved for a long time. I have been to a cadaver lab and some of those bodies have been there for 10 years or more. The condition of the bodies are in surprisingly good shape.
This woman owns her property, and if she wants to keep her dead family at home with her .. then let her.. she isnt going to be around for ever. so eventually the state can bury all three of them.. geesh let the woman do what she wants.

I found that odd, unless of course they reported her sisters name incorrectly.

Although the bodies are embalmed they still decompose down to the bone. It just slows the decomposing process slightly. The bodies have been decomposing since 1999.

OK, I actually learned something from Topix. No wonder the storage locker in the basement is starting to smell "off".

This is crazy. Those of you in here defending what she did are just as crazy as she is. Ugh, how utterly disgusting.

And shame on her family for not intervening and getting this woman some help.
