LMAO! That type of error happens almost every day. Sometimes repeatedly in an hour and very little is done other than a cover your butt exercise....

Here's how to expedite dispatching and cut the 911 workfArce:
Replace most of the call takers with an automated service:
(After the obligatory "for English, press 1")
"For Police, press 1; for Fire, press 2, for Ambulance, press 3".
Then "If you know the name of the City, Borough, or Township where this incident is occuring you may enter it now dialing by letter. If you do not know the name of the City, Borough, or Township press zero and an operator will assist you".
80% of calls could be routed to Dispatchers without the mindless robotons known as "call takers"
