Just another case where Barker (and Rebert) try to make a name for themselves by 'trumping up' charges.

Fire Barker and vote the idiot (Rebert) out of office.

They are a complete waste of OUR MONEY !!!

Barker couldn't convict someone if he witnessed the crime. Fire this loser.

Someone needs to FIRE Barker.
I have never seen a more incompetent Prosecutor.

He quit the DA's office when they were being sued.
Then, he comes back after he apparantly couldn't make a living in the 'real ' world.

Since then , he continues to waste the County's money

FIRE this waste.

Perhaps some introspection is necessary for the York County D.A.'s office... What a shameful waste of taxpayer's hard earned money. The incompetence begins with Stan Rebert and permeates down through the ranks. I think that it is time that this office receives a major overhaul begining at the top.

There is a saying among lawyers that, "anyone can indict a ham sandwich." Obviously Tim Barker (and the rest of the dimwits down at the D.A.'s office) prove to be the exception... My thoughts go out to the families involved.

This is truly a sad situation. What makes it even worse is that not once has Philip Putman shown any form of remorse or apologized to Charles Heck Jr.'s family. It was an accident, but it would've been nice if he could've said "I'm sorry" just once. Philip Putman didn't purposely kill him, but he did take the life of a nine year old boy. A boy that will now never have a chance to grow up because of Philip Putmans actions.

When it comes to this case I feel a lot of pain, Due to the fact that i know both parties. The family of this young boy is very hurt and in pain, and im sure any one would feel that way if they lost a child. But the fact is this was just accident, and that was provent in court. This young man was not not drinking, doing drugs, speeding, or even talking on his phone. That was proven at trial. The other driver called 911 before he even used his phone. And a commet back to 4real1, this young man had been inlisted in the are months before this happened. And also re did his army contract to stay here longer and face any charges the DA had for him. The fact is The DA's office told the Army there were not going to be charges brought to this young man, other wise the army would have never taken him. Then the DA waited A YEAR, didnt even serve this young man, just charged him as a fugitive! Cops came to the hospital on the army post in washington, right in to his wives delivery room, after she gave birth and handcuffed him! The fact is this case is more then sick! the DA's office should be ashamed of there own actions! And Tim Barker Has some Nerve, I hope he is ready o face hell, because he is sure to see it due to his actions! As to TRULY SADDENED, your more then welcome to call Officer Hoffer at the york county police station and ask him about how Mr. Putman and his family showed no remorse, because even he will be sure to tell you that that is NOT TRUE, Infact the police told Mr. Putman and all of his family Not to contact The Heck Family Due to this being under investagation. I know this for sure because Mr. Putman ask his friends and family to state fund for the family, and send flowers, And Officer offer told then NO, when they asked if they could contact the Heck family about that. So Please Be sure to Know Both sides of this. And just a little note- the public has the right to know, that althought this family is in so much pain do to the loss of this wonderful little boy who I was lucky to have met, this boys father had NO Driver License.....and No Right to be on that road. But I guess thats not the point right! All Im saying is Everyone is in Pain here but remember, when you point your finger there are 4 more pointing back at you.

Most serious instructions in safty,(including highway safety), will contain the information that:

"Accidents don't just happen, they are caused."

A major contributing cause of this "accident" was the truck crossing the center line!

I am Lobbying for the truth, Not just for this case but any that take place! I think it is unfair that the news should only report half the story......the public has the right to know everything! The fact is the DA's Office has no idea what they are doing! And Im tired of it! As for yeahyeahyeah, No i am not a Mr. Putmans Brother or his lawyer. But I am someone who Knows Both sides have heard Both sides, and the one thing I can say is that Mr. Putman Never Pointed fingers.....He Said Yes I did swerve to avoid that animal and yes a child died hours later due to that! He has been punishing himself every day for that! He has to live with that!!!! Not you, not me, Not the DA, Just HIM! But as the other party was in pain and hurting, there pain turned to anger, and the finger pointing started. You can look back to all the storys wrote by this paper since this crash and see, Fawn Taylor always telling the papers she wants Mr. Putman to pay, how he is a lier. Never was she honest enought to tell the papers, that they were on the road with no Driver License. But I guess Honest is no big deal these days....right? I guess honest wont see the paper!

This whole situation was a shame. Mr. Putman caused this accident, not the fact that Mr. Heck was driving while suspended. Phil crossed the line, maybe he wasn't talking on his phone, texting, or whatever, but I do know that phil was a horrible driver and shouldn't even be holding a license. Right2mythoughts, if you are as good of a friend with phil as you say you are and have ever been in a car with him behind the wheel, you would know what I am talking about.

My guess is that the only time phil thinks about this is when it is brought up in conversation. The only time he would feel remorse is when he would remember that he might be spending time in jail, but he is in the free and clear now.. No worries, the carefree life of an idiot. I

Concerned citizen, My guess is you dont even know this Mr. Putman so I dont know why you have anything to say. If it dont bother you that the Hecks had no right to drive, then you must just be another angry family member. So your thoughts are blured by sadness! But as for the rest of us, who are not directly involved, it is not right for the Hecks not to take some blame in this. Besides if Mr. Putman is such a bad driver why does he hold a PA license and a goverment drivers license Through the Army?

That's good question that I have been wondering for quite sometime. God only know how he continues to be able to legally opperate a car or what have you.

As for me not knowing phil, I can only say that I know him well enough to know that he is a nice guy, and didn't mean or want to hurt that boy, but I also know him well enough to know that he is of below average intelligence at best. If you know him and have had any conversations with him and have any intelligence yourself.. You would understand what I am talking about. My guess you are someone who is associated with his wife, and where you have every right to defend phil as much as you please, if you are as smart as you try to convey yourself as, you know that this is Phils fault, and you feel sorry for him because is has had such a sad upbringing, and is plan and simple not very smart.. He does have (as I have heard him use as an excuse) a learning disability .

This is a sad situation for both families. However I know neither but from my understanding to get into any branch of the service a test has to be taken. Phil cannot be that non intelligent if he is serving in the Army. He had to pass the test to get accepted. I hope both families find peace and comfort in God and move a head with their lives and make something good come from this.
