Ok here we have two towns what one is worse? in both you have drug dealers. With drug sales comes crime, fights, gangs exist in both. In the evening --weeeeeeeeee morning hours you have people loitering the sidewalks and streets in med-large crowds yes nj ban smoking inside but that should not be our peoplem to need to swing wide to get around them in the middle of the night. I have been through both at night do police still exist in any of them. In wrightstown it seems like they have a fair share or motels i dont think i would board my dog in. brownsmills you have less but still have the same problem. Brownsmills you have the wawa wrightstown you have the 7-11 both open 24-7 a nice hang out for drug dealers, prostitutes, crack heads begging for money not spare change but hard cash.

I am sure the police in either town have a case load but to the police in either town could you please step up getting rid of some if not all of the drug dealers crack heads so i can one day sell my hope for atleast what i paid for it.

To the Mayors and governing body of either town take a more active part in the community and get involved stop sleeping the problems away it is not working. If you dont have enough in the budget for more police action get the state police more involved our tax dollars already pay for them.

Could we all have some better traffic laws like stop the speeders and ticket them more often so they know to slow down so one of our kids or family members dont get hurt or killed.

It's a toss up to which is worse..I live in Browns Mills and I can tell you that I do not leave my house by myself that often anymore. As far as the State Police coming into town, that would really make the Twp officals angry, not to mention the cops. I don't think the State Police would rspond to anything here in Browns Mills with out the OK from our finest in blue.
I can't imagine all the harrssment that the person who called the State Police would have to face with the cops in this Twp.

They both stink of political corruption at it's worst! In Brownskills you have the ever so cleaver ones who just look the other way when a new drug dealer sets up in town, Then in wrightstown you have the street lined with them on any given nite. It takes people calling and reporting what they see who you see and any other information that might help you dont have to give your name or information if your in fear of someone coming back at you. But get off your keesters and do something about it.

As for speeding i think both towns could use some help it is like englishtown race track at times and god forbid you do the speed limit you will have someone shoving you down the street.

The worst is not wanting to go to your local convience store aftre dark who knows what you will find. I know a cpl people in wrightstown who say one of the elected officials can be found stagering the streets through the night or sleeping it off at the fire house or in his truck nice town Not! Sure beets a DUI i guess.

Wrightstown has some of the worst water rates in southern nj i have ever seen. People say that money from the sale of property was to be used to pay off a mua loan not build a new fire house.

Brownsmills well i think it should be called T-111 mills that seems to be the siding of choice.

In the summer if your not eaten alive by the giant skeeters like 3x the normal size ones everyone sees you might be asked if you want to buy drugs or be mugged either town. I would never tell anyone i know to move to either town.

Are you kidding what does the town have to offer other than drug pushers, drunks walking the streets, rooming homes, Do they even have one nice place to eat? Then you have the bars that stay open until 3am or later. They dont even have a police dept.

The park is a joke when is the last time they groomed the ball field 2007?

They don't even have a food store thats a good 20-40 minute ride to get to a decent one.

It's more like a halfway house town.

I wanted to say a little something about wrightstown. I moved out of state about ten years ago but I grew up in wrightstown during the sixties and seventies and it was nothing like it is now. It wasn't much just a quiet little army town where eveyone knew everyone. There were more businesses, my father owned one for over twenty years. There were no drugs on every corner and mainly families lived there. I'm sorry of what has become of it but at least it was once not a bad town to grow up in.

i grew up in wrightstown as well.from 80 till 91. it was starting to get bad then. my whole family uped and moved well i moved back but to browns mills. but only because my ex moved there with my 2 kids. all that there is is pineys and peaces of sh*t there plain and simple.(with the exception of 2%. my ex was mistreatin my kids so i ended up wit custody and moved them back to tenn where i live now.im not racest at all but i beleive we should date our own race and thats all there is in da mills is interracial dateing and ill be DA**ED if my daughter is going to grow up thinking thats the thing to do so im outta there but that was only the part of it drugs, a**holes, alcoholics just not a good place to raise a family. i m proud to say im from jersey a yankee or whatever but if you ask me which is worse, theyre both f*cking sh*t holes and not fit to raise f*cking pigs in. and thats the trueth!!!!

To the guy who hates interracial dating but claims not to be racist...."closet racists" like you are the worst kind. The diversity in Pemb/Browns Mills is what makes it a special place. Yes, crime is increasing, but many successful professionals were raised in Browns Mills.

The best towns in America have drug dealers, low lifes, and murders, etc. However, many of these towns don't benefit from the life lessons learned from interacting with childhood friends from multiple ethnic backgrounds.

Check out Pemb HS on classmates.com and witness the interaction of adults from different backgrounds that you'll never see while perusing many other high schools.

Crime can be corrected with the help of public officals, but many of us appreciate the diversity, lakes, and mostly caring community.

I drove through the boro of wrightstown today it looked like cr*p the streets are dirty it looks like a crack infested section of the city.

I also had read the story before going out and stopped at the park trash was strewn around and yes the baseball field could really use some help.

The bathroom was filthy and smelled of urin you think if it was open someone would clean it every now and then. Dont they pay someone to do that?

The place looks like one you would remove your hubcaps before going into a store but you dont really have any in that god forsaken place.

closet racest?? thats why my best freind was black.its like this being a n**ger has NOTHING to do with being black its the ignorance of the person.do yo have a daughter?? i doubt it cause if you did then you wouldnt be saying that.and as far as successful pros coming outta da boro, think about it thats ppl hat grew up before it got the way it is now or at least as bad. i do agree theres all that sh*t everyway. its like theres no place to hide!!but thats why its up to us to raise our children the right way with our individual beliefs and mine is no race mixing!!and like i said im proud to be from jersey just not a safe place to raise children. where i live my children can play out in the yard withut the worry of gunshots crack pipes needles etc. just want my children to have the best i can give them with as litle worry about the crime drugs and so forth but ppl have yheir own beleifs and this is mine!!

I know you all know how horrible this place is. I was just wondering though...do any of you know of any criminal records of the town (Wrightstown), or where I can find them at least? I'm looking for specific inceidents within the past year. Thanks.
