Nice to see that you met some of our more furry friends up close and personal. Thousands of people a year get to have that same experience at our bear viewing platforms at Anan ( http://www.fs.fed.us/r10/tongass/recreation/w... ) as well as at Pack Creek ( nhttp://www.fs.fed.us/r10/tong ass/districts/admiralty/packcr eek/index.shtml) near Juneau, Alaska, and from the only bear viewing site on a road system at Hyder, Alaska.
For your readers who may be heqading up this way, here's a site that will outline many wildlife viewing possibilities on the Tongass National Forest: http://www.fs.fed.us/r10/tongass/recreation/w...
It's nice that Jacqueline had such a great educational experience. She's just one of millions of young people we want to introduce to their outdoors through or puch to get more kids in the woods.
I'm looking forward to seeing your photos when you get them posted.
