Dr. John K. Maxwell was the Klugh family physician from 1856 to 1866 in Worthington. This is from my great great grandfather's Civil War Pension papers. Dr. Maxwell lived near the corner of Cherry and Old US 422 (this is according to an old Worthington map dated 1861) in Worthington and he died there in 1903 (according to the Butler Area Genealogical/Obits webpage).
Is there anyone in Worthington who is a descendant of Dr. Maxwell, and are his old patient records still available?
- Thomas Klugh
