Traffic violations are now and always have been a source of revenue to all government entities. Anyone believing or promoting it as anything less is fool or a liar. Read this article closely and it should be apparent!

Three things...1) The state patrol hates administrative tickets. 2) Something that used to be a warning now is a ticket...because...it's ONLY $60. Hey,$60 pays some bills every month. 3) How many of us get to fund our job when the company comes up short and we need raises and equipment. Do we just pick someone and bill them for a product? That's EXACTLY what this is. Flat out, it's another back door way of taxing us, and government does plenty of that already. Call is what it is. Administrative ticket baloney...

As I drove back home across the Stillwater bridge one day, I couldn't believe the police presence on a Sunday afternoon. I saw one Ford Explorer complete with a mural of the Stillwater downtown on the side. Two Dodge Chargers with the murals on their side. Up the road a little further there was Stillwater Suburban with a boat behind it. Still further up HWY 36 there was a state patrol and a Washington County sheriff. This was all in a span of about 3 miles! It seems they have an overabundnace of officers on that side of town. No wonder they need to pad the coffers. Make sure they don't ask for CASH on the side of the road so at least it is RECORDED. Soon we'll have police like in Mexico that WANT cash payments on the side of the road.

They are all getting credit card machines on Sept 1st. That will make it much easier on us.

Nice. This should create a few more jobs for the city: a couple of dedicated traffic enforcement officers, a hearing officer, and a banker. We're stimulating the economy, YES!

Imagine that...the State changes the law to make them legal, but only after they get 1/3 of the prize. Way to go DFL...

So, these administrative citations are for what? Looking cross eyed while driving an ugly car when the sun is out?
How does Joe Citizen know what constitutes an "administrative violation"?
