When Goblinwang speaks Topix Users listen. We do not need another Waco, TX. I saw your group yesterday at the mall. This area already has enough bad exposure thanks to the Oxycontin Express Doc. We don't need your cult growing in numbers "street by street". If people attend your House Church better put up your opiates...

Investigate It For Yourself. This is bad news, not good news. Got to church, not cult church.

How did you determine this to be a cult. Maybe I missed something, but I read nothing out of the ordinary of people on a mission to spread the WORD.

What's with the comment about the opiates? Where does that come from?

I am saying to them you better watch out who you are bringing in your house. They will steal off of you. All this street by street talk is wonderful to dream about. How about you and I meet at their church at the Funny Bone this Sunday. Then I might have a different idea. Do you want to really meet me in peace?

I'm not sure where you're coming from with the above post. All I'm asking from you is to enlighten me about the church. I've never heard of it before. You must know something about it to have made the comments that you have made. Please tell us the facts.

Btw, are you the real Goblinwang?

House Worship is unsafe. It would be an easy to get mind controlled.
Mind Control
Mind controlMain article: Mind control
Studies have identified a number of key steps in coercive persuasion:[17][18]

1.People are put in physically or emotionally distressing situations;
2.Their problems are reduced to one simple explanation, which is repeatedly emphasized;
3.They receive what seems to be unconditional love, acceptance, and attention from a charismatic leader or group;
4.They get a new identity based on the group;
5.They are subject to entrapment (isolation from friends, relatives and the mainstream culture) and their access to information is severely controlled.

Now Missio Die encourages to visit somebody's house first, before going to the Funny Bone. That is dangerous. Just like it was dangerous that they sent children alone at the mall passing out candy and coming up to guys like me,(who would protect them from harm). So it's a very unsafe environment, and can lead to Cult behavior.

First of all, it is Missio Dei not DIE.
Second, yeah, they meet a the Funny Bone, but that makes sense because half of them are boozing it at the club Saturday nights.
Third, they are not so much as a cult as most of them are a bunch of recent Marshall grads who wanted to create their own church that allows them wear flip flops Sunday mornings and to "bend the rules" under the guise of "freedom from legalism."
They're not smart enough to be a cult.

So now we have a "Faith Formation" at Bible Thumper Jones house. Bible Thumper Jones stood in the Methadone Alley in Huntington by CVS and McDonalds. After a dose of the pink cool aid the patient is happy and he is recruiting his Faith Formation. He has went to the down and out and sung a song you are now a missionary go spread what I say. The whole Cult problem is the missionary is an attribute to God and not a church. When David Bosch got with this young church movement less than thirty years old at the time he started out at the church, not the streets, it was Jürgen Moltmann who then replaced Bosh with this street movement. It gets very complex, and I wish I had more time to explain. I will try to get back tonight if possible.

So they are really a bunch of angels with dirty faces? I don't smell beer, I smell the fear they will raise in Ashland.

You are right. If the things mentioned above are facts, then yes, they are characteristic of a cult.

Wow. I guess it's true that anyone can post anything they want without fact to back it up. What garbage from the goblin man.
If you are going to truly post and give your opinion, perhaps you should go to one of their services and see if it's a cult. But instead you react in fear to something you seem to know nothing about.

The FBI is investigating them as a cult. Are use the same mind control patterns that cults use. I ex members tell awful tales of the church. I mean they worshipp a dead human man. They target young women… Usually white… Usually from affluent families… And they target them when they were alone shopping .
