I always see these lowlife teens hanging around parks in worth. Most of them are at Peaks park or at Galemoore. I really think the cops should be checking out those parks more frequently. I cant even bring my children to those parks now because of them. The teens sit around doing drugs and drinking right in the daylight. I don't understand why teenagers would want to hang around at little kid parks. Where are their parents?? They need to get jobs or learn to hang around somewhere else.

Ok, number one we chill at peaks because the skatepark is there, Just cause we are older than your kids doesnt mean we cant chill at the park, get a life and deal with your problem, and BTW i HAVE a job. You want us to leave peaks have them build a skatepark somewhere else.

I had several children and never let them hang at Peaks Park. Too many kids, too many older kids. There are many nice parks in Worth. Find another with less skaters., less older kids. Little kids love parks, especially different parks. Peaks has always been an 'older kid' park. I have to agree with scumbag. ( sorry kid). I think he has a good point.

Ya know what? I'm engaged to one of these "childs" whose 20. He used to hang out there when he lived there and he didnt do drugs. Maybe, ya should just realize that THERE'S A SKATING AREA THERE and that it attracts 13-18year olds. So what if they're older than 3-12? I bet once your kids get older they'll be hanging around parks with there friends. THEY ARENT DOING "DRUGS" all the time.
Stop dissing WORTH just because, you're some rich prick who "thinks" they're perfectly better than everybody else. BIG deal if there is/isnt a trailer park nearby? I grew up near a trailer park, big deal, does that make me WORTHless too?.

There are 8 parks in Worth. Peaks is the main park. It was put there for ALL ages. When the kids are in school, the little ones can go. There are 8 parks. If you think the kids are too old for your childrens age group, go at an earlier time or take them to another park. This park was not created for four year old's only. All ages/ multi purpose park. Scumbag, you'r cool & still friendly village too. Equal rights for the Park. Be the future next Mayor.

Theres way too many drug deals and violence that happens at peaks, thats why the village of Worth installed cameras all over the building, watching the park.

Glenwood, you don't know anything. Peaks was meant for people including kids of all ages. There's baseball fields, basketball courts as well as a skate park and batting cages. The tot lot sand park is only a small part of it. What 14 yrs old work? With unemployment at almost 10% that might be impossible. This isn't the good ole' days anymore. No one is hiring and most are trying to keep their business open. A Club? for 14-15-16 year old? Like playing basketball, softball, baseball or skateboarding? That's what the park is for. Peaks has had a bad name for many many years. Yes, the cameras went up but you never hear of any arrests. Little kids can go to one of the other 7 parks. Or they can go in the mornings if they don't want to see anyone. It's usually empty in the mornings. This is an all purpose, all age park.

number one....we chill before dusk, we do have better things to do at night, but where the hell are we supposed to go to skate if we are "too old" to chill at peaks? thats the only place we CAN skate WITHOUT getting arrested. and worth 5/0 is crooked as hell in case you didnt know....so it doesnt matter if we obey the rules or not....they are still gonna try to bust us for bull

Why not have a teen program there? Sounds like if the building were open with park people there, these problems would be less frequent. not a police problem. where are teh classes? There are plenty in oak lawn and palos heights? why not here? We are bored! Need stuff to do! Noone listens....maybe if the adlts. listened to what kidz actually want there would not be problems.

u know what? the safest park yet is the school park if someone does something illigal its on tape cause of the school cameras and noone really hangs there much except some litlle kids and if someone starts trouble and the library is open run there its close and noone can do anything bad (i would recomend if u dont have a phone use ur moms or some relativs phone so you can ask them to pick u up)

There are programs in Worth, You have soccer, baseball, and Football. Football practice just so happens to take place at Peaks, it has since i played for the Panthers 15 years ago and probably always will. As far as older people being at a park being any kind of issue, yes there is a skate park there, i'd expect to see older more experienced riders there as well as the younger ones. Better them riding there than illegal spots. As far as drugs, they should find somewhere else to do it if they have to. There are also baseball fields that adults play on when the leagues aren't using them over there.
All you prissy fucks knocking Worth need to get off your high horse, ain't no gates separating your towns from Worth so I really can't see any kind of difference.
