I understand that the police department is low on manpower. Why doesn't the city hire more police and lay low on overspending to make the city nicer than it already is? Is this competition to Chicago? Land size and population show Burbank is no where near Chicago. Wo where are the mayor's priorities???? People first, buddy, and don't point fingers when you're the one who's elected to be responsible for the citizens' well being. If you had not spent money on baskball courts in the first place, you wouldn't have had to spend more money to take them out.
