The minimum wage is exactly that ... MINIMUM.

Just like the 45 mph minimum on the expressway, MOST PEOPLE go way faster than that.

As far as decreasing the taxes on the job creators, that is a smart idea that will result in better employment opportunities.

Those who worry about how much money the wealthy people have apparently aren't focussed enough efforts on their OWN ability to prosper. Relying on the government safety net to bring properity is pure foolishness.

Making smart choices and having a disciplined approach on spending can keep the middle class dream alive.

Things like learning in school, not making babies without a committed spouse & sticking to a budget, could go a long way to creating a happy, successful future.

State governments are expanding the wealth gap, eh?
You'r sure it has nothing at all to do with stubborn high unemployment under Obama.
As usual, Obama is pointing fingers.

Obamacare is the main Job and wage issue today. Soon everyone will be contractors or part time.

Guess you need to blame someone for your failure.

When you point a finger at someone, there are THREE pointing BACK AT YOU !!

Time to take control of your own life, and quit blaming other people.

Well since the employer mandate was postponed,
and the fact that most are only hiring part time at this point.
Guess most of those folks will have to go to the ACA since they would not have insurance.!!!!
If they did not they would have to pay a fine; no Tax, no fine, no whatever.!!!

Minimum wage laws, wage and hour laws, and anything else that interferes with the free market and the freedom of contract should be abolished.

Yap, the guy who confiscated all private gold in the 30's should be telling us from his grave what a "living wage" is now. That term is subjective and very useful to bash any employer even if they paid $500/hour. As long as there are selfish unions everywhere whose only job is to get as much of the pie as possible, there will never be any "living wage" large enough.
