First escape since 2003, six years. Burl Cain, just a couple of weeks ago announced a reduction in staff of approx. 95. The story was that Manned Guard Towers were going to be replaced with Camera Survailance feeds. I wonder if this escape was made possible because of camera vs. human?

What a dumb question. Why are you asking us? Why not just go directly to the source and ask Burl Cain? When, and if, you find out we'll be most pleased for your response. GAWD.........

Oh brother, psycho is back.

I live near Lake Rosemound and I can assure you the presence of law enforcement was useless. Maybe someone needs to learn and watch these guys better while they are in prison instead of watching them on tv after they are caught. I am the best and I could have caught him sooner than that.

Leave him alone, please. He can't change his spots. He was actually being very nice. You just don't know him like I do. He can be a nice person if he wants to be. Sometimes, he just doesn't. |

Wiley: I think it to be in bad taste for you to call RBS a psycho. And all this time I had no idea you had a medical degree. |

2 Did ask and answer was no in this particular case, human guards vs. cameras was not a factor. As to why so long to capture? Explanation was he really didn't move or attempt to leave the area, making it harder to locate him, he did have provisions and hunkered down, making it harder for scent or foot trails. I can see from the comments that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to communicate with the rational folks on this site and I'm not sure it's worth the effort, so have fun!! |

Another DUMB response to your own question. "Human guards vs. cameras" were (not was) a factor. So what was the factor? Which one was it not...human guards or cameras?
"He really didn't move"...dumb again. How far was he captured from his escape boundry? Pretty far for an escaped convict who "really didn't move" wouldn't you say? Re. his provisions, you would be best advised to check this out again, Son. Did his "provisions include his raincoat or his shoes? He lost them both. Maybe he had a backpack full of Spam. Sure!!! "Hunkered down making it harder for scent or foot trails"...how does almost 4 miles away and almost all the way to the Mississippi line sound? My GWAD, son. you were correct. It is difficult, if not impossible, to communicate with the rational folks on this site...etc., etc. |
