Just wanted to let everyone know that Pemberton Township has decided to stop funding Station 199 better known as Pemberton Township First Aid and Rescue Squad. Their plan is to force them to close their doors and stop serving you "our community on April 1st. At which time all Ambulance calls will be handled out of Lourds Deborah. This is bad on two parts 1st because the service we offer for free will now cost you the tax payer to pay for an Ambulance trip to the Hospital and the 2nd if you live on the other side of town it could take anywhere up to 15 mins for treatment to arrive for you. I know this is a Browns Mills topic page but remember this is still Pemberton Township and we serve everybody. We are trying to fight this closing but we need everyone we can get to back us in this fight.

for now you can go to the facebook site Pemberton First aid and rescue squad. There will be a link for anyone to sign the petition. At the top of the link it gives you an option if you would like to make a donation. If U choose not to make a donation then just sign the petition part at the bottom. Be sure to follow this page as any and all information will be made public through this sight. Thank You for your reply and any support you may offer.

I know now there are many onsite advanced medical services in Grande Prairie. I'm sure it helps a lot when there is an emergency that needs to be taken care of. http://www.911industrial.ca/about
