It was surprise to see "Catholics" from St. Joseph or should i say community of holy spirit at prayer breakfast in Salem County. Why didn't they attend Prayer breakfast in Mullica Hill?

Afterall, they will be going to their future parish in Mullica Hill with all the "wonderful" white upperclass income people in Mullica Hill. Their presence at the prayer breakfast alone is proof that it doesn't make sense to close down St. Joes and move it to mullica hill.

If anything, the the parish center in woodstown is bigger and newer and has room for even a newer and bigger church. The old church could be kept open for weddings and eucharistic adoration. St. joes is historic and has a big impact on local businesses too. St. Joes is in a middle of a growing town. Look at the new bailey street construction. The church can also purchase additional property in pilesgrove for new school. Also, Queen of apostle in carney's point should be kept open too. St Mary's in salem kept open for weddings, eucharistic, etc. That way both sides of salem county would have covered. That would have been the most logical according to demograpahics and population shifts.

If anything should be closed, it should be corpus Christi. It is in the middle of no where. Sell or lease the school. There are brand new homes nearby so it shouldn't be a problem. Sell the $800,000 mansion/RETREAT center in Pittsgrove.

Maybe Keep Corpus Christi church and property OPEN for real retreats and maybe build a CYO there. Convert the Bishop Guilfoyle school into a CYO where they can even have horseback riding, crafts, religous activities, basketball and other activites to benefit all youth in the area. Put in a pool so people in the area can go swimming.

Mullica HIll should have been combined with Swedesboro and East Greenwich that would have been the most logical thing.

And wouldn't it be great to have ministries that would truly welcome AFrican American and hispanic Catholics into the parish. At St. Joes we even have Native American Catholics who have "english" last names. Those on deanery and core teams members especially those who were racist supplied the diocese with innacurate data. Also, my husband and i were original deanery members. It's amazing how Christ is about truth and yet certain "Catholics" are so blinded that they can't even see or tell the truth. May is the month of Mary.

ST Michael the Archangel feast day is tomorrow. St. Michael the Archangel is also the patron saint of Police officers, including NJ State Troopers.
