Officer arrested for possession of cocaine

A corrections officer at the Refugio County Jail was arrested Wednesday, July 15, for possession of cocaine.

it doesn't help when you get set up, let alone you have to know the person has an illness called bipolar disorder. look it up and see just how easy it is to get talked into something you wouldn't normally do, especially when you go off your meds. unless you know what you're talking about, please don't comment! Been down that same road.

i think she should just be slap on wriste for it .she is very kind hearted person no matter what she has done look most people get off easy on lil stuff like that .

I have done extensive research on bipolar disorder and you are right. When not on prescribed medications, a person who is bipolar does things that he/she would not normally do. I have a family member who is bipolar and whenever he doesn't take his medications, he has done things that has gotten him in trouble with the law. I pray that the court will see this for what it is, an illness and act accordingly. She needs help not jail time. I'll pray for you Cheryl Rhoades, that you get the help you need.
